Organizing a group buy on parts?

Hey All,

I'd really like to build this robot, however $2.5K is pretty expensive for myself.
I was curious if anyone would be interested in the possibility of organizing a couple of group buys for each part group.

I think the pros here would be:

  • Reduced costs
  • Ability to make a singular purchase for one area of the robot (i.e Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Good quality custom parts such as the 3D printed models and custom PCB's

I haven't organised anything like this before, but would be willing to send out a few emails/inquiries to vendors.

And where are you from? If Europe, I can help you with the printing.
