![]() Habboon Username: MrSandman Character Name: Magentas Nightshade Character Age: (Is a symbiotic space-rock so the age varies on the body) mid 20s Character Power (including all 5 apps): Kinetic Energy Manipulation (These powers are only usable when the rock symbiote has a human body host) Application 1: Kinetic Energy Draining/Absorption: Magentas is able to absorb and use the Kinetic Energy of attacks and other things, depriving the target of the energy. Meaning he can drain the KE of a person standing at least Application 2: Kinetic Energy Empowerment : Magentas gets stronger the more energy that he absorbs, he always has energy stored in him so his typical base strength is around 4 tons - 8 tons. His strength will increase proportional to the amount of KE he absorbs, and will max out. Maxing out on strength is not the same as reaching the max amount he can absorb, however, it just means that he won't get more powerful the more KE he absorbs. -His max strength is now 44 tons Lvl:8 Application 3:Kinetic Energy Armor/Shielding : Magentas is able to project a sort of armor(more of a forcefield) on himself and on others within a -Now able to deflect 22 tons of force. Lvl:5 Application 4:Kinetic Charging/Channeling : Magentas is able to, either through contact or remotely, charge an object with Kinetic Energy, then activate said KE. He can channel/charge KE into the front of his fist when he punches to deliver a devastating blow, or channel it into his feet when he jumps to send himself flying into the air. Or he could pull a Gambit and infuse playing cards with KE and hurl them around like little ninja stars. Or he could channel the KE in a less destructive way into the ground sending out small minute pulses of KE to feel people's presence and what not. This is his primary combat power. Application 5: Inertia Control : Magentas is able to control his own, and the inertia of other people and objects. However this power is limited by the speed and mass of the object. Say if Iron Man in his suit were swooping down out of the sky to try and spear him, or some such, he could slow down Iron Man, but not bring him so a stop. The ability can increase or decrease his own inertia and that of thing around him, but it does not increase the damage of attacks but can easily create distance in fights. He can use it to increase his speed by decressing his inertia and the inertia of say the particles around him to go into a very fast sprint, or he can increase his inertia if the situation needs him to stay on his feet. He cannot truly fly(and the effect of this ability are only in effect as long is he awake and cognizant), but can simulate flying effects by decreasing his inertia and jumping for long distances, or the like. -His maximum speed is 300mph Lvl:3 Skills & Abilities Hand-to-Hand/Martial Arts: Master level. He has learned hundreds of fighting styles over the years, and is able to quickly switch between one style to the other in the middle of a fight. This makes him a very versatile and powerful fighter, mixing in defensive and offensive fighting techniques along with his strength-based power. Fighting him would be a long fight, as his specialty is longevity. Focus: As one would expect with an ability that has the potential to be so very destructive you would have to have a lot of focus. But that is not the kind of Focus being referred to. He has learned how to keep Telepathic/Hypnotic/Seduction/Emotion Manipulation waves and attacks out of his head through sheer force of will and focus. Anatomy: Expert, under the tutelage of Dara Price, the nurse, he has learned a great deal more about anatomy. His increased knowledge of pressure points has lead to him becoming an even greater fighter than before, and his new found knowledge of the human body has enabled him to have far greater control of his host body, leading to over all improvements. Duties as an Instructor Please give an example of a type of lesson you would hold: The students need to know how to fight without using their super powers, as you never know when those powers might be neutralized or just not matter. So I would teach several Self-Defense Classes, ranging from beginner(novice), proficient(Adept), and excelling(Expert). In these classes I'd go over multiple different types of fighting and ways to get out of fights and disarm opponents. I would make sure to let the students know that there was always numerous ways out of the fight, even ways that don't involve fighting at all, such as talking your opponent down. I would also teach the students how to use their powers more effectively and how to use them in tandem with fellow students in order to foster better relationships and allow them to fight more effectively alongside each other. Please give an example of how you would mentor a group of students for teamwork: I would keep that group in close quarters with one another to make sure they spent time with each other and got acclimated to being around and in a team together. Then I'd spend time with the group making sure that their were no grudges among them, and if their were I'd have them talk it out instead of resorting to violence. I would train each of them in how to use their powers and abilities in a variety of settings and also how to best use them with one another. I'd encourage them to try new and inventive ways to use their abilities, and way to combine them with their fellow teammates abilities to make stronger attacks and forge stronger closer bonds both in and out of combat. Suffice it to say, teamwork is the most important aspect of being in a team, and having the members of that team be friends who love and care about on another is even better, so I'd try to foster good relations between the team members. Please give an example of how you would mentor an individual for leadership of a team: I would pull this individual aside from the group and would begin to train them on how to read people and interpret there emotions. I know most people can't "feel" peoples heart beats through their feet with kinetic pulses, but from that I have become very good at associating certain ques with certain emotions, despite being alien to the culture of humanity. I would teach the individual to lead with compassion and kindness, leading them together as one chain, not as a lock with kinks dragging behind it. The leader is the keystone, but I would stress that the position of leader should not be used as a way to enhance their ego or status, is just means that you were good enough as you were to lead this group. You were responsible, etc, and should not change who you are and how you act just because of a new title. I'd make sure the leader can adapt very well to unpredictable people, places, and events, as a leader needs to know how to respond to almost anything. I would stress that they are allowed to make mistakes and should try to learn from nearly anyone they meet, so as to keep them from developing an ego. An ego is the last thing a leader needs. As an ego puts themselves above their team, while a leader puts themselves amongst their team. Please give an example of how you would handle an argument between two students that eventually leads into a fight: I would personally break up the fight between the two students, sending them away from eachother and erecting a border to keep them from going at it again. I'd let the students calm down, then I'd ask each of them individually what happened as to cause the argument. After hearing both of the students out, I'd keep the situation calm by making no mention of punishment and I wouldn't name either party as the guilty party. I'd then move the barrier closer together(While still maintaining them just in case the two are still angry at one another), and tell the two of them to speak to one another. If they don't make up and just continue arguing and trying to fight I will keep them separate. Unlike some teachers I won't send them to the Sim. Room, or to the Training Room to fight it out. As if one wins, they'll just harbor a grudge against the other. And that won't do at all. This is a team, we don't resolve things by fighting eachother, we resolve them by talking to one another and learning to see eye to eye. The two quarelling students will be paired with each other on the next mission or patrol, as I believe that no two students are petty enough to carry on a grudge while lives are on the line. |
