I wonder if a tag is necessary. A roster might be sufficient, depending on what the faction's plans are. I'd suggest only enforcing a tag if faction needs require it, for example, needing to be easily recognized in-game for potential profits.

Mmm, brain storming.. Must post seperate thread...

Just a thought, which hadn't occured to me until I saw Kingmax in game. The "Junker-" tag doesn't look right alongside the tag supplied by the game.

How 'bout a brainstorming session to give a name to the clique? Like, for example, Junkyard Vagabonds, Sons of Jersey Field, Rochester's Renegades, etc.

Edit: Or, mayhap, use [JNK] or [JNKR], or some such, so it doesn't look terribly redundant.

[JNKR]- gets my vote Junker- is redundant. In game people will see Junkers -[JNKR]Ratchet rather than Junkers-Junker-Rathet.

JNKR looks good yes, but where is JNKR diffrent to Junker almost none, why not just JNK, and then we are almost to J, but being a faction, it should go something along the lines of [JS] Junkers of Sirus, perhaps, or something... we'd better figure something out as name changes are about to happen....

Curently we have Junker tag, wich is looong, and hard to type in when you want to /i your friendly Junker... what was wrong with [J]?

How about just a minimalistic J.name.here... no [] no nothing, the shortest posible way to identify Junkers, it would give us maximum speed and sorting ability...

Hi, Kingmax, me piratin' mate.

Uhm, matters trrrrribly? [J], while it doesn't easily identify us to other folk, does leave room for "fuller" names. [JNKR] isn't any different from "Junker" in the latter regard, but allows easier identification for others. Pros and cons to both.

New rules for piratin', mate. No more followin' folk into systems chock full o' military types, ay? :ph43r:

He's just a Starflea for the moment, but I'm going to shop around the debris fields of various systems, and see if I can't salvage a proper, top of the line ship to provide effective escort for me Junker bruddahs, and effectively terminate the.. Xeno scourge in NY.

Now with the name changes in effect (just today Majkp changed our names to Junker-"name")

I guess i will stick with Junker-"mynames".... it is long, but nobody should take more than a second to figure out we are in fact junkers...

it also seems most of our members are already using the Junker-tag... so let's end this debate and stick with Junker-
