Hi Junkers due to the fact that the forum has become a bit intransparent, I opend this thread to collect every single opinion on every important topic. So please not just read it but give your own opinion to these points. The topics are: I. Leader of the Junkers: Do we need a leader, who shall us represent or how do we want to be organized? II. How do we earn money? Is everything allowed or are there some strict rules? What is the junky way of earning money? III. New Junkers How do we get new Junkers? Are we recruting them or are there special things they have to do in order to join us? Or can everyone use our tag? IV. Which ships are junky? Which ships are we allowed to use? Which one should we not use? Which weapons may we use and which should we only sell? V. Reputation Who will kil us on sight, who will trade with us? What us our general repuattion to PC and NPC factions? VI. Other things which not belong to the rest Dunno what I have forgotten but maybe one Junker can think about something else. If yes then post it under this point. |

I. I am for an 'Council of the Junkers' where every Junker can state his opinion. And I am for one 'Ambassador of the Junkers' who will represent this faction and who will enforce the decicion made by the council. II. I think we can do all things we want. Alone or in small groups. Help other pirates, pirate on our own, sell/transport weapons and goods all over Sirius, mine goods, smuggle or hire as a transporter for pirates. III. I think this faction should be open to all as long as the person has a Junker tag/ID, a junky ship, junky weapons and changes his name to Junker-... IV. I think we can use any ship we want, exept some xeno, hogosha and BGH ships. V. I would fire on sight at Xenos, Hogoshas. I would fire at all police, BHG and military forces if they would enter the space around any Junekr base if they refuse to leave. But I would be neutral to all other factions (exept PC terrorists. |

As to the first post.. 1: Junkers don't need a leader. It just ain't the Junker way. 2: As stated, and it should be known well enough, that the Junkers are opportunists. Any way you can make coin, so long as it doesn't significantly endanger others Junkers, is a viable option. 3: How to get new Junkers? Consider every character ID'd and tagged as "Junkers" to be a de facto member of the faction, and every consenting, forum-participating Junker to be a de jure member. Aside from that, recruitment threads and message dumps will gain new members. Recruit in game. 4: Junky ships: GBs- Corsair, Rogue. Bombers- Barghest, Taiidan Fighters-CSV, Collector, Marauder, Moldy Crow, as well as Kushan, Taiidan, and Raiders fighters, Hyena, Werewolf, Wolfhound, Bloodhound Freighters-Bactrain, as well as Kushan, Taiidan, and Raiders freighters. Transports-Container Trans, Firefly, Pirate Train, Pirate Trans, and maybe Miner. 5: Oi. Xenos, Hogosha, and corporate ships we KOS/demand cargo/tribute. Friendly with Zoners, mayhap. Unfriendly to mercs and bounty hunters, and by extension of hostility towards house corps, unfriendly but not hostile towatds house police and military. Neutral to all others. As to the second post... 1: A council, yes, with nobody forced to comply with any decision not in line with NPC Junker behavior. Every Junker in good standing with the extended family considered to have ambassador status. 2: I agree, so long as it doesn't break basic NPC Junker RP. 3: You read my freakin' mind. 4: If you can come up with a good RP salvage story, or can swing a purchase with PCs aligned with NPC factions, more power to you. 5: I'm forced to agree with this as well. |

Remember guys that Junkers do not hold considerable firepower. Stirring a hornets nest will always (and I do mean always) turn against us, by resulting in us getting blown up. The rest of the players can capwhore us to hell and back, we don't stand a chance in a fair square off. Now, if we want someone hit off, we get a merc to do it for us. Generally our weapons are only as a last ditch defense. The Junker way is that we don't fight, we deal! |

Yes, yes. I prefer to haggle PC traders out of their cargo without having to scrap their ship, myself.

1. We need a leader, someone to coordinate events, perhaps even many leaders, one for every Junker base. 2. I would suggest robbing big weapon dealers, to further spread our monopoly, otherwise no limitations here, if we can think it up, we can do it... We probably wouldn't do non smuggling trade runs though. 3. Salveage a preticular code weapon, and deliver it to a Junker base... or a diffrent kind of a mission... 4. If it looks junky, feels junky and is IDed and TAGed... go ahead, but probably cruisers and battleships should be limited, (that amount of junk could be better sold than flown around) also some strange fighters... If there is an Junker alternative to the ship, it should probably be used, as PVP is not a focus, there is no point in flying something more powerful than what we have. 5. same as NPC relations, except Bountyhunters these should be rather avoided than killed... as they have an upper hand in many ways... |

I. Council sounds gay. A collective union perhaps? Same thing though. Ambasadors are okay in my book as well. We need someone to do the leaders stuff, while we mustnt have a leader at all. II. All kind of things. Smuggling may be a bit limited perhaps. Some noobs will probably join (most likely for the loadout and craft, since its not strict at all) start smuggling openly and blow cover of us all. I never get busted because I smuggle for fun, not money. Moving through asteroid fields and using jump holes only. III. Junker tag, Junker ID-ed and with proper naming convention. Must be someone who roleplays. IV. You know my take on ships and loadouts. Fighters: Civilian, Collector, Crow. Freighters: Taiidan Raider. Transport: Pirate train, pirate transport. Loadouts: Any number Junker weapons, up to 4 civilian, up to 2 neutral factions weapons/codes. Might also be a messy setup with pretty much anything with different projectile speeds etc V. I would fire on Xenos, Hogosha. I would NEVER fire at all police, BHG and military forces or corporations. The relations may not be warm, but we need to keep them at that at least. While corporations are our business rivals, our fights are commercial, not on battlefield (may involve hiring mercs to blow them up, though). Looting a generic traders in a Whale cargo from time to time in Sigma's is okay, though and something Id like to do occasionaly. Rochester really isnt Junker space as well. According to rumors Police run inspections there from time to time, but never found anything. We dont have the jurisdiction to force them out. |

Ah, I've got to disagree, Dwarf. What we need isn't a leader, but for everyone to have gumption enough to take initiative with their ideas, and organize activities. Dreygon collecting a group, and going on salvage runs, Kingmax or myself organizing collaboration with Lane Hackers and other pirates to haul pilfered goods, etcetera. I've got ideas for massive smuggling runs, as well. We could get as many ships as we can online in transports, load up with Cardamine on Malta, truck it through Texas and into NY, breaking at Beaumont. We could get Hacker, Falcata, and other help, even mercenary help, to stir up trouble in California. I've seen the way Lib Navy/Libby Police/LSF PCs react to that. Just the other day, they ALL abandoned Manhattan to engage the hacker, LR, and HF presence in Cali. Along with their pet mercs and bounty hunters. Not one lawful was left in orbit. With the hackers, etc., running interference, and disengaging immediately to be chased, we could make tremendous profits running cardamine to Manhattan that way, and give the hackers, etc., a share of the profits. And what outstandingly awesome RP it'd be, too! Occasional events like that would be quite niftilicious. |

Great, great ideas, I love those discussions. The more we debate/ argue about that, the better our rp/story behind that will become and the better will our faction become. Go on....
3 groups, 3 ways of earning money, all Junkers all playing like real Junkers. Great |

III. you read my mind. IV. so, by your logic we could be flying around in Avengers, Wraths, Templars (ewww...) and Chimaras? (well Wraths are pretty junky and we ARE salvaging a debrie feild full of 'em but stillk, NO> |
Thats that police state they call "Liberty" for you. How ironic. Really I was pirating in a Barghest with a Greyhound and a dreadnought showed up and killed us. The LNS IronFist. Again, how ironic. (well ironic isn't the best word) | |

yes thats a good idea, one for every base. then they decide on stuff and come up with RP events. and they should all either fly the lunchbox (corsair) or tugboat (rogue) GB. i nominate myself for leader (or whatever we call it) of Rochester Base.
