There has always been, and always be, a tremendous amount of debate and disagreement regarding Junkers and piracy. I've always personally felt it to be proper, but within certain limits, specificaklly, piracy limited to house corporations, against which the blue-collar Junker is decidedly opposed. Basic guideline structure for piracy within the Junkers family would be simple. Any PC tagged with a house corporation badge, such as Bowex, Ageira, Interspace Commerce (Including [IND] PC faction), Republican Shipping (Including RepEx PC faction), are fair game, but not other house-indepenedent organizations, such as the IMG. As we're talking Junkers here, I reckon they'd be more interested in taking percentage of the loot, rather than demanding coin, but that's just my opinion, and it's just a guideline. As for quanity, I'd say no less than half their hold, if not all of it. Then, you might want to be two-faced, and demand coin anyway. Then, when all is said and done, you might very well betray your own deal, and rend their hull. You might laugh just to ice the cake, as well. I tend to settle for a percentage of cargo, though. No need to anger anyone excessively. As for "taxing" smugglers, and snitching to any nearby law enforcement should they refuse your extortion, from what I can tell from in-game dialogue with info-giving junkers, they take a little "graft" from them-at least those who use their bases. While the meaning of graft is debatable, it says in easily understandable black and white at Rochester that they often turn smugglers in. Why, though? Well, that leads me to my conclusion regarding smuggler taxes. You don't pay the piper, and the Junker rats you out. Just my thoughts on the matter. |

Great philosophy there Nathan. This should be the definitive Junkers guide on piracy! I personaly like to pirate people, for small summs let's say 500k, wich is about as much as i'd get if i stole their cargo and filled up my 480 gunboat hold... that is junker style, since we mostly have freighters, not bombers, demanding cargo, from smugglers could be profitable as well, being able to sell it quickly. |

Well I think Junekrs are not allowed to demand coin from traders cause in the ID is written that they just ask for cargo stuff. But I think 500k are ok it just means we shall not demand 5m or something like that. |

They all say that. Pirate, Rogue, Outcast, Corsair, Junker, etc.. "Demand Cargo" None say anything about taxation. Suppose that's all fighters, bombers, and gunboats can do, as they lack cargo space.Hmm, I might have to look into getting a pirate transport. King's PT is s-weeet. 9 turrets!? Time to visit Montezuma! *Frowns slightly at the 28mil price tag* King. How many turrets fire *foreward* though? Can't shoot down runaway transports broadside. "Alright. You've got loot, and I want it now!" |

Actually, with a pair of pirate transports, packing cruise distruptors and everything, perhaps a supporting gunboat, we could take on any train... saying something like, "drop your cargo captian"..... and then "not likeley junker" *wam, blast, splash, wreck, smokin-kabam* and the transports would scrap up the leftovers.... (actualy they are great in combat these transports, i did hessians in them with lots of success) |

One pirate transport could take a train easy. His P trans got 9 turrets, and CDs. Kingmax didn't need me and my gunboat, really, last night.

I think only 2 can just shoot backwards. 4 on every side and I think 5 or more forward. I like my baby!
