The way the Mark of Mastery works on our forum is rather simple. Once a Keyblade-wielding character reaches a point in which they think they are ready, they may request a Mark of Mastery. It is coordinated by 1-2 Staff Members, who will play as a Canon Keyblade Master, such as Riku or Aqua, or one of their characters if they have already obtained the Mark of Mastery.

Each exam will vary in content and difficulty, as it will be easier for a Level 20 than a Level 10. However, it is up to you what Level to take it at once you are ready.. It is up to the Staff Member what the Exam will contain, and it will have anywhere from 1 to 5 types of Trials within it. When you make a request for the Mark in the Subforum, then a Staff Member or two will acknowledge that they are covering your Mark, and will begin a Thread with you to oversee it.

You may also take a Mark of Mastery with other similarly leveled members, which is actually highly recommended. This will function similarly to a Group Thread, and is a lot of fun. Remember, this is not a contest! Some or all may pass the Mark, or none at all. Have fun with this, as it gives you a nice Rank and allows you to hold some sense of a leadership role in the Keyblade Knights (Though not as much as Staff Members).

Upon successful completion of the Mark of Mastery, a character receives a special Gold Crown Token similar to Sora's Crown symbol, which can be worn or held on to in any way. They are also treated with high respect, and are allowed to oversee over lower ranked members and gain apprentices. For these reasons, Keyblade Mastery is given out with much scrutiny, and is a rare rank. If you don't gain Mastery on your first try, it is OK. You can try again as many times as you like, and have a different set of trials each time.

Current Keyblade Masters:

There are several Keyblade Masters who currently supervise the Keyblade Knights. They are comprised of the following warriors:

1. Aqua
2. Riku
3. King Mickey
4. Sora
5. Kairi
6. Ventus

The Keyblade Knights are always wanting to add new Keyblade Masters, so if you think you might qualify, take the Mark of Mastery!
