Yeah I’ve noticed the EastEnders social media has been a lot more active recently.
About time, they should be using the social media to there full advantage, the other soaps do.

Definitely! I can't believe that it's 2018 and they're only just starting to get to grips with it (and it's still got a long way to go). Their instagram account has been active for a couple of years now but is so inconsistent and unprofessional.

Funny thing is an unpaid fan could probably do a better and more through job.

Leslie Grantham is fighting for his life in hospital, The Sun is reporting:

Quote:

EASTENDERS legend Leslie Grantham is fighting for his life, The Sun can reveal.

The soap villain, 71, who played Albert Square hardman “Dirty” Den Watts, has returned to the UK from Bulgaria where he has spent the past few years and is now being closely monitored by docs.

Leslie has been secretly visited by close pals in the industry who are now fearing the worst.

A close friend said: “Leslie is being looked after. Those who are close to him are hugely worried and are praying for his well-being.”

The London-born actor moved out of the UK following his split from his wife Jane following 31 years of marriage.

He spent time in Bulgaria filming soap The English Neighbour in 2010.

A spokeswoman for Leslie confirmed to The Sun: “It’s true that Leslie is very poorly.”

The London-born actor was famously brought back from the dead by EastEnders bosses in 2003 when his character Den was reunited with on-screen daughter Sharon Watts in one of the soap’s most shocking ever storylines.

Fourteen years earlier, he was supposedly shot dead by a canal during an attempted bid to leave the country and Sharon even identified his body.

He's an EastEnders icon. I can only give him my best wishes and hope he recovers.

Erm... all of these quotes literally describe the current state of Corrie, not EastEnders?

"Humour is everything- Coronation Street does it in bucketfuls. That makes it watchable."

Sorry, did I miss something? Was Jamie Foreman's year as Derek Branning EastEnders at its best?

Did the "bucketfuls" of humour from that Queen Vic brawl make the show watchable?

Seriously craving some new announcements:

'EastEnders exit: Steve McFadden to leave Phil Mitchell role'

'EastEnders to air huge story for Jay Brown'

'EastEnders return: Lucy Benjamin to return as Lisa Fowler full-time'

SOMETHING. Please. Not everything needs to be announced, but I need to know something in concrete just to fuel my excitement a little.
