I would love to see, Sam doing Strictly. It would be even better if they could get Rita as well. |

Ronnie vs Roxy would be the highlight of 2018. |

I mean, had they survived, Ronnie and Roxy probably would have killed each other eventually anyway. This would be a tad more metaphorical. |

There was nothing funny about the decimation of an EastEnders legend for the sake of cheap shocks and poor storytelling. The original Michelle Fowler was one of the best characters that the show had ever had. To ruin her memory in the way that they did is unforgivable and certainly not a laughing matter. |

I'm more of the mind set that if I didn't laugh I'd cry. Also it's a soap opera and doesn't really matter. |

I liked the male Cokers the best - I thought that Les' story was something different and unique for soap and Roger Sloman really excelled with the material which was surprising considering some of the performances he had given in the run up to the Christine reveal. Paul was a fascinating character who was often neglected and overlooked as being nothing more than a boyfriend for Ben. He was probably one of the most realistic younger cast members that they'd had in a while so of course the show did what they do with all of the characters who show potential and killed him off unceremoniously. I often found Pam a little selfish where her family were concerned and she often put her own feelings above theirs. The way she shut out Les after Paul's death was a bit infuriating. I did however like her relationship with Billy's branch of Mitchells. |

I have to say I agree. I can't imagine any of the younger cast getting away with constantly badmouthing the show that pays their wages. As the old saying goes, don't bite the hand that feeds you. |

A casual reminder that Mel still has a tape of Phil kissing her. Autumn explosion? |

In terms of the dramatic stakes, I can't wait but it'll only make Sharon look even more ridiculous. Mel told Sharon a few weeks ago to her face that she kissed Phil but she just shrugged it off and laughed like the deluded witch she's become. This revelation will be a proper case of the "I-told-you-so"; perhaps it'll lead to that big fall and subsequent rise we're all hoping for, but who knows? |
