SCREAM.

I was at work when this was on, but thank God cause this thread sounds far more entertaining!

Happy for Rudolph and Lorraine, but the rest sounds like an utter farce.

I am of course still sad for Emma Atkins missing out on the Best Actress award. Her storyline this year has seen her really deliver episode after episode and I think she has really excelled with the material. As an avid viewer she has moved me in a way no soap performer has done for a while. The last time I’ve been hit in the feels like this was probably Stacey’s bipolar story or Danielle’s death over in Walford.

Still, I think those roaring chants of her name would have been enough of a win for Emma.

Helen rarely gets as long as thirty seconds of screentime, so this must have been a rare opportunity for her. :P

I hate that the only awards Emmerdale won were completely undeserved when there were so many other categories in which it did deserve to win.

Now I LOVED the Hotten Car Crash but who on Earth is gonna be quoting Emma's "YOU'RE A LIAR!!" in 20 years? "You Ain't My Muvva" deserved that fair and square, and I was utterly convinced it was going to win. What a farce.

And sorry, but I find Isobel Steele a bit crap.

I knew as soon as Lucy Fallon won Best Female Dramatic Performance it would be a mess, and it didn't disappoint.
