SCREAM. I was at work when this was on, but thank God cause this thread sounds far more entertaining! Happy for Rudolph and Lorraine, but the rest sounds like an utter farce. Edited by PurpleRain, Jun 2 2018, 10:44 PM.

I am of course still sad for Emma Atkins missing out on the Best Actress award. Her storyline this year has seen her really deliver episode after episode and I think she has really excelled with the material. As an avid viewer she has moved me in a way no soap performer has done for a while. The last time I’ve been hit in the feels like this was probably Stacey’s bipolar story or Danielle’s death over in Walford. Still, I think those roaring chants of her name would have been enough of a win for Emma. |

Helen rarely gets as long as thirty seconds of screentime, so this must have been a rare opportunity for her.

I hate that the only awards Emmerdale won were completely undeserved when there were so many other categories in which it did deserve to win. Now I LOVED the Hotten Car Crash but who on Earth is gonna be quoting Emma's "YOU'RE A LIAR!!" in 20 years? "You Ain't My Muvva" deserved that fair and square, and I was utterly convinced it was going to win. What a farce. And sorry, but I find Isobel Steele a bit crap. |

I knew as soon as Lucy Fallon won Best Female Dramatic Performance it would be a mess, and it didn't disappoint. |

I'm just watching it now and I LOVED Lacey and Jake looking less than impressed as Schofield was walking out |
