I’m glad Bex is getting some focus again. I never got the hate for her or Jasmine.

Prediction: Ian will be the worst thing about this scene. Four years ago when we lost Lucy, I thought it'd be worth it for these kind of parental loss scenes. Now we've lost Steven and he barely blinked and Lucy is just a card he plays for sympathy. I wouldn't even be surprised if she's not mentioned in tonight's scene with Carmel.
When people mention to me in future that I slammed the best Ian scene in years before it aired.

It's a throwback to when we slammed Gail minutes before she delivered *that* monologue in the aftermath of Aidan's suicide.

In that case, I look forward to Ian visiting a dodgy psychic after Peter's stabbing, gang rape and disfigurement.

Ian and Carmel tackling knife crime and coming together as a result of their losses is actually really brilliant.

Ted being motorboated by Kat and witnessing Stacey and Martin's sexploits is low-key iconic.

Vincent is far more interesting when he's off screen.

Impressed by that Ian and Carmel scene. With a lot more positive development behind him, I could have been even more impressed. Let's get that ball rolling.
