Everything and everyone is really good at the moment. To see Ian on screen and not want to roundhouse kick him in the face is a rare and pleasant sensation.

I agree about "What Happened to Vincent?". I've always loved these kind of stories where someone has gone AWOL and the people left behind must try to move forward and figure out what's happened. Would be nice to see Donna a bit more involved though, seeing as she's leaving. But Tameka and Diane are doing a brilliant job and I look forward to Patrick playing a role too. Such a hugely compelling unit with such hugely compelling material. I don't want Vincent back though, so here's hoping the mystery runs for a long time and does not necessarily mean that he returns. He is much more interesting when he's not there.

That episode made me cry, cackle, gasp and smile. EastEnders is brilliant all the time these days but something about that episode was just so... EastEnders. Probably one of my favourites of the year.

I feel I shouldn't, but can't help but love Hunter, it's weird, I find some of his acting wooden, but at the same time, engaging. Loved the camp wink to Jack at the end.
Hope they continue this side of Ian for the foreseeable, and it would be nice if he was just there supporting, without it leading to anything more with Carmel, feel that would take away from the current good scenes.

I don't think that I completely liked Kush's monologue. I felt like his speech was more about Shakil's relationship with his mum. I want to hear about Kush talking more about his relationship with Shakil and his feelings about Shakil's death. I am hoping that we will eventually see that. Despite that, it was nice that Davood got a moment to shine. I really want a scene where Denise and Kush discuss Shakil's death.

I liked that Denise supported Carmel's speech.

I am still enjoying Kim's storyline. I hope that Vincent is still alive.

Hunter is twisted. Mel believes Hunter too easily.
