A missing money storyline.

The various incarnations of the missing money have appeared more so far this year than Dot has.

SCREAMING at Karen and Bernie being dragged into helping Max. Bernadette's facial expression after that smash cut had me howling.

I like Bernie but sometimes I wish someone would give her a slap.
I like myself but sometimes I wish Letitia Dean would give me a slap.

So, kind of the same thing.

I’d pay for the pleasure.

Are you even gay if you don't want Letitia Dean/Jessie Wallace to smack you around the room like you're Hannah Waterman at the British Soap Awards?

Carmel has become such a force. The way she just calmly shut Max down was phenomenal.

What strikes me about this Stuart and Mick storyline is that it doesn't have a sign-posted story route. This isn't an "Action-Reveal-Aftermath" kind of storyline. I have no idea where it's going. I have no idea who the hero is. Or the Villain. Or if there even are any. It's so fresh and exciting and on the pulse, that I truly can't envision where it is leading to. When was the last time a soap storyline as felt that way?

EastEnders is laying the foundations for an absolute belter of an Autumn. I can feel it.
