Monday 9th July 2018 Halfway plays the Carters a video from Stuart, who now accepts that he made a mistake with Fred and vows to stop hunting predators. Stuart explains his reasoning for what he did, but the Carters are surprised that Mick already knew. Later, Mick and Stuart get back on friendly terms as they get drunk together. During a moment alone, Linda tries to encourage Stuart to leave, but he turns nasty with an intimidating response. Meanwhile, Phil spots Rainie trying to buy drugs after her latest tension with Max. He intervenes by getting rid of the dealer and trying to get Rainie back on track. After Phil tips off Max about Rainie's troubled state, Max apologises to Rainie. However, a new crisis dawns when Cora turns up. Elsewhere, the crowded Slater house starts to annoy Martin. Also today, Ian and Masood continue to argue. Wednesday 11th July 2018 Patrick offers Cora some advice, suggesting that she should be trying to build bridges with Rainie. Cora does try to make amends with Rainie, but it's clear that she has an ulterior motive when she makes her daughter a tempting offer. When Max realises that Rainie could be swayed by Cora, he demands to know whose side she's on. Meanwhile, Mick tackles Stuart over his attempt to intimidate Linda last night. Stuart apologises and tries to make peace with Linda. Later, Tina returns home and is surprised by Stuart's presence. Elsewhere, Mel turns on the charm with Ian to convince him to move the food van, but a disapproving Masood takes matters into his own hands. Also today, Martin tells Stacey that he wants the house back and her family have to go. |
