You might be able to fit a galley in an aircraft carrier galley. Unfortunately I haven't yet been aboard one personally to speak from experience. But with a size and crew compliment like they have... |

In retrospect, I should have used the full word probably. I too often try to type it the way I speak it, or something like that it's 信心 |

Ah, that makes a lot more sense than "I your letter stable". So is it just that google didn't understand, or is that extra character essential for forming an intelligible sentence? (I'm guessing the former if it's how you say it.) |

That extra character solidifies which meaning of the one before it by making the word of the pair. It's a little of both actually - because without the context of what I was referring to a native speaker would probably be confused as well. It's only because it was implied/understood what I was talking about to Elys that the 'confidence' meaning of 信 is self-evident. If that made any sense |

Yup, that makes sense. So does that extra character have any meaning, or is it just for disambiguation? Is it more like (if I tried to disambiguate 'charge'): 'charge ([rand][r]attack[/r][r]electric[/r][/rand])' or 'charge ([rand][r]meaning 1[/r][r]meaning 2[/r][/rand])'? |

The extra character by itself is 'heart'(including a few interpretations same as the English word) but in this case it is used more for disambiguation, clarifying which meaning of 信 you're using rather than actually making a word seperate from the characters by themselves. |
