Awww, really :'( fine... *gives the classes back to Kari* N thanks ^.^

I get to read and discuss a book that's in the format of 3 college students discussing the existence of God. (one's a theist, one an atheist, and one an agnostic). It's actually pretty interesting :D

are you sure, towr? i've seen people swoon to think of them dark ages ... something to do with the atmosphere
Every age, real or imaginary, has it's fans, I think. Suffice it to say, without the enlightenment we wouldn't have the internet now and our only entertainment would be being eaten alive by wolves :P

Is it relatively unbiased? Because it's hard enough to discuss religion impartially outside of a format that lends itself tremendously well for setting up strawmen arguments.

We don't really have any wolves around here, though- would bears make a good substitute, do you think? :P

From what I can tell so far, it's mostly unbiased. I think the author is Christian, and a bit of that shows in how the characters are portrayed, but I think he's trying to be as unbiased as possible.

I find myself moved to quote verse. For any that haven't seen and wish not the smallest iota of spoilage, the following comes from Disney's Frozen:

True, it's better exercise. But it's only as entertaining when it happens to other people.

That is true :ninja:

BTW- I'm really excited right now. A friend of mine started getting together a group for D&D. We currently have about 22 people (we had to split them into two groups, so 2 DMs) and are in the process of getting everyone to make characters. (I'm a half-elven sorcerer :3)

:o Nice- Lucky you! I kinda wish we had something like that here... though at the same time, I don't- I don't know where I would find the time for D&D (it's a serious time-sucker).
And yay for half-elves! ;)

Two of my poems got accepted into the college's literary arts magazine- I just got the email today. So that makes me happy. ^_^

Hmm... true that. We're actually not sure if we'll be able to find a time for everyone to get together to play....

Oooh, congrats Elys! (I always knew your poems were awesome ;) )

Oh, and I've been wondering... is anyone else having the problem of signatures not having their own space anymore? (like- Elys's signature goes over the edit & delete buttons, and Kari's goes all the way down into the next post)

Hmm.
I've checked in Chrome, and it does indeed look a bit craptacular.
And in IE (9) it also doesn't look as good as Firefox -- and the snow is having interesting effects on the scrollbar

I'll try to find some time to look at it somewhere in the foreseeable future.
