You can't match Faramir, sorry...he was always the best of the characters. When he saw the Ring, he rejected it utterly. That's why he's the best. Heck, even Aragorn was tempted. |

Oh, lol...Nah, Faramir's is better. Haldir only shoots at a couple Uruks; Fara actually zaps a Naz. |

If you'd ever seen the Wounding Arrow special from B4ME, you'd know what I meant. I meant 'zaps'. |

Huh. I knew Me knows Darths&Droids (I thought Kari did too...) so I'm THOROUGHLY amazed no one got the reference. Especially with all the D&D players evidently here. It's from DMoTR. Which inspired Darths&Droids. |

Fair enough. Actually, in a way I envy you - my ability to retain stuff like that from context is both a blessing... and definitely a curse. There are a few things I will always wish I couldn't quote verbatim. |

there are some things that do stay with me...strange how it's always small and seemingly insignificant...but the smaller things are more important to me (a kind act...a mean gesture...clues in a conversation hinting something deeper) rather than formulas and tables...graphs charts and other such nonsense...they are not valuble to life...only as a means to work your way through it are they helpful...but you can't get a true friend by telling your problems to your sweet calculator i find matters that involve person to person contact ,and anything related to it, are more important to understanding life than all the junk in school that will never again be refrenced |

I'm really starting to wonder if we may be from the same place. (The trick I'm finding is where there is SO MUCH common ground how to actually add to the conversation and not just say 'ditto.') I also tend to remember best parts of movies that others don't remember at all, or only that that part was there... Though my most useless so far is knowing the poem Gandalf recites about the rings of power, the march of the Ents (SO COOL) and The Jabberwocky. |
