So I discovered I have this real problem finishing things. I own the Entire Ah! My Goddess first season, Escaflowne and now all of Evangelion. Never finished any of them.

Eva is good right up through the second to last episode (where everything before it was a dream - only it's a dream). Escaflowne I love, but a lot of friends I know didn't like the end At All, so I tailed off watching a disc and a half short. Ah! My Goddess I apparently developed this irrational fear it would do something similar which keeps me from watching the last episodes. :P

Turns out I have this thing about endings. I don't play Prince of Persia now cuz I found out the end is lame, can't play Shadow of the Colossus for the same reason. Am willing to finish Infamous because the end is Awesome (so I'm told) and am more than a little nervous about continuing Heavenly Sword because there's a good chance it could go south.

Is there some curative for this problem (at least so I'll be able to watch shows when I don't know how they'll end)? Or should I stick with writing so I can make my own endings?

And in that respect - anyone here watch Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid? I'm nervous of how it will end so I haven't seriously gone looking to acquire it yet.

If you're still on the first season of "Ah! My Goddess", then I don't know why you're worried about the ending: there's a second season. The end isn't the end of the story, it's the end of the season. The same is true for the second season of AMG, and also for "Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid". The arcs of the current season are resolved, and things return to what passes for normal.

AH! My Goddess! I love that show! Got a Belldandy tapistry hanging on my wall.

By the way, I'm trying to find a manga that I found at a Goodwill store that looked very interesting but put it down and (my bad) :( forgot about. I can't remember the title but I know it's a fantasy story about a girl (I think it's a girl) who's in search of these beautiful but powerful beings that can, for a price, granted wishes. This girl's wish is to have her dead brother brought back to life.

Does this ring a bell to anybody?
