Yes, and the book was (as always it seems) much better, least it explain more then the movie did and there's a series. Inkspell and Inkdeath.

I heard that there's a Ranger's Apprentice movie in the making. B)

I'm now reading spellfire. It's kinda like a dungeons and dragons campaign taken over the top and made into a novel, but it's really good. Well, it is, so far. It's the first book in a series.

I have asked my relatives to get me several books, all of which are amazing:

Lord of the Rings (The Fellowship, The Two Towers, Return of The King)
A Fine and Private Place (Peter S. Beagle)
The Princess Bride (I saw the movie and liked it; still have to finish reading the book)
Fromage (from the webcomic: Lint)

Yee- creepy smiley. The Farsala trilogy is about this kindom- Farsala- which is attacked by the Hrum (I think based on the Roman Empire). The Hrum have one year to conquer all of Farsala (why is explained in the story), and the story is told from the point of view of three young adults- Soraya (a deghass, which is a female noble), Jiaan (her bastard half-brother, and her father's page), and Kavi (a peddler with a crippled hand and a grudge against deghans). It's really cool.

Hmm... I almost finished Dragon Quest, by Anne McCaffrey, but we had to return it to the library before I could finish :( Now I'm just reading Big Fish for school.
