That's... difficult.

My brother (that I'm currently staying with) recently acquired "Tongues of Serpents" the latest of Naomi Novik's novels of Temeraire, dragon in Her Majesty's service (at least indirectly). Yay!

Ummm....the Shannara books by Terry Brooks have elves in them (not sure if you've read them already). I would recommend 'The Sword of Shannara' and 'The Elfstones of Shannara'.

I think the only book I've read with elves in them was the Discworld novel lords and ladies, where they play the role of villains.
Well, actually, a lot of books I've read don't overtly state what race it's characters are. Maybe they're all elves and I just never noticed; maybe I'll try reading my next book as if they're all elves and see if it makes a difference :P

Better question with dwarves is why are they consistenly associated with a Scottish accent?

Probably because the Scots are that cool. Though I have a heavy amount of bias there.

Almost finished reading: Airman. By Eoin Colfer. I started it around 11 last night and looked up to see 3AM. I'll finish it tonight, I've no doubt. Rather reminds me of The Count of Monte Cristo, but an enjoyable book, nonetheless.

Currently reading "Running with the Demon"- it's taking a bit longer than I expected, probably because I'm also currently reading "The Mage's Daughter" and "Windows to Heaven: Introducing Icons to Protestants and Catholics".

I should probably stop getting books out of the library, but they're just so interesting (finished "The Faces of Neutrality", "The Battle of Leyte Gulf", "The Battle of the Suriago Straight", "One Lord, One Faith, and "The Immortality of the Soul").

Have to ask Elys. ;)

Ah, I remember when I used to do that - five or six books at a time, and I would add a new one as I finished one so I was just constantly cycling...

Those were good times.
