I wonder why they make up such a group-name for a solitary animal that doesn't flock in the first place. What's next, a school of loners? A herd of hermits?
[edit]Seems to have been made up in the 50's Or at least google hasn't scanned any books using it before that time (whereas flock has been used through the centuries). [/edit]

The one I like best is what someone came up with for politicians: "an embarrassment of politicians" Now we just have to make it go mainstream.
