Heh. Most don't. But there are enough of us that the slack can be picked up for a day. ;) You don't even have to help clean up your birthday dinner, which is REALLY nice.

That doesn't happen with my family. We just get to pick the meals for our birthdays. And we get chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.

We had that "choose what's for dinner" tradition too.

We do the choose what's for dinner thing. It's not overrated, either. And then we get to open presents, which from your siblings usually are certificates like "Yeah, so, I'll be your slave for an hour." "I won't poke you for a month." "I'll change the kitty litter for you for a while." "I won't punt you off the computer." "I'll pick up your toys and make your bed tomorrow and give you lots of hugs." But my favorite one last year was from my overactive little brother who said. "I'll be quiet for a solid hour."  And then your parents give you a few things.

I thought I'd like chocolate chip pancakes, but I only like apple ones. :-/ Maybe it's because the first one I had made me sick - but I think I just don't like them. I like lucky charms, that was my birthday present form my oldest brother - two boxes of lucky charms.

I love gifts like that...like when my sister two kids down from me promises not to argue when I throw her off the computer 'cause I need to print something...

Me too.

We usually don't get anything from the family for our birthdays, but whenever we see grandma next, she takes us out birthday shopping. She's got a really nice half-price bookstore near her, too.

See? It's the older brothers that always punt you off. ^o)    No point in refusing, either - you'll literally get dropped kicked. That's the problem with being undertall with your brothers being overtall. Why don't you guys just let US print them? Or just let us sit there while you press the print button?
