OH REALLY? Twilight had decent writing. It was just destroyed by the world it was set in (Vampires. Do. Not. SPARKLE!!) Shadow: Meh. <shrug> The world will not come to an end if you don't. I was just randomly struck by... I wonder if you would like "The Green and The Grey" by Timothy Zahn. Don't ask why I thought of you |

I like some of Zahn's stuff...the 'Hand of Thrawn' trilogy was pretty good...but aside from that, I really haven't been able to get myself into his other works. |

I'm convinced almost anyone who reads books can find something by Zahn they like. For myself, I like every single one I've read (though some more than others) You might try "Spectre of the Past" and "Vision of the Future." He takes Mara's reins again after all what others did using her and brought her back where he thought she should go. Much less telling another epic Star Wars story. (Edit: I wonder why it's not displaying. How about like this) Oh, and about Twilight Edited by TheDeepDark, Jan 29 2010, 03:32 AM.

Meh...after they killed Chewie, that whole book franchise just went sour for me. I don't like any of the books after that point. |

Those take place before "Vector Prime" which is where they kill Chewie. In fact, they're the last of the 'good' books in the franchise in that respect |

Yes. And I don't ascribe to the "Real men cry/wear pink" theory. Twilight is... on second thought, I'm not going to touch twilight. I'll just say you'll want your life back when you're done. |

I'm not gonna touch it period. Real men cry when their moms die, laugh when someone hurts them, break the face of anyone who tries to hurt someone they love, and will fight to the death over who gets the first Super Bowl ticket. |

You had me until the Super Bowl ticket comment. And I'm forcing myself to leave it at that. |

Siding with Dark here. But I agree with everything else. I don't like girly men. |

I hand you an undisputed point, Darling, now if you see a NON-girly one in about 5-10 years, do the evil thing and let Me know.

That wouldn't stop me from a quip, just the immediate one. Thank you, Darling! I'll keep that in mind. Heaven knows I won't find one here. (Has to be a Christian, though. #1 rule of dating.) But not a single one you mentioned is near me. It's a plot amongst the karma. >_> Edited by Me, Jan 29 2010, 05:45 AM.
