Awww, I thought we'd be heating up water to dump on Me and Elly to make them stop.
Shouldn't you use cold water for that?

Well, if I call you a he accidentally, sorry in advance. I'll try and remember.

They weren't gonna dump the tea, just the water.

That's what I thought, too. >_> Wouldn't be the first time, but it wasn't hot, so that's what worried me about Feyna's comment.

Oh, well. *Goes back to chasing Elly*

Elys, If your icing is waterproof you should probably be worried about what's making it waterproof...

Noo, I've tried this with normal, edible peanut-butter icing. Granted, it wasn't pure water, but still....although I suppose coconut-pecan icing wouldn't hold water.

Hmm... *sticks out foot in front of Kari* well, it would stop them... though I suppose cold water would be better, we wouldn't hurt anyone too badly then.
And... isn't Elly a magic cake? That should make her more resistant to water than a normal cake.

Or! It might make her DISINTEGRATE in a burning fashion! Like an alien! Or other magicked stuff that seems to be allergic to water! THROW TEH WATER!!!

Yeah, didn't the wicked witch of the west (from the wizard of Oz) melt when Dorothy threw water on her?
I wouldn't assume "magical" means "waterproof". I don't know if being evil factors into the equation though. Maybe only bad magic has allergic reactions to water (being of sorts a purifier).

Um.. I thought you were running Kari (chasing does imply that). I was just thinking that perhaps being waterproof might have been one of the things that being magic gave her.

Well, I supposed it's a better approach than they had in the middle ages. If they had known bad witches melt in water, they wouldn't have tied them down with weights and thrown them in the water to see if they float.
On the other hand, it's a bit unfair because chances are her icing will melt (or, rather, dissolve). But that wouldn't mean she's an evil witch. So no burning her at the stake unless more than her icing melts. No wait, you wouldn't do that anyway; you plan to eat her. No doing that either.

Girl: "I'm not a witch!"

Man: "She turned me into a newt!"

*long pause*

Man: "I got better..."
