That's because when they kill Chewie is stupid, and it only gets stupider after that. Timothy Zahn's Spectre of the Past and Vision of the Future are close prior to Vector Prime(the kill Chewie book) and where I stop in the chronology. A lot of before that is fair game.

And it's actually from none of the above. The quote is from a comic book run called Dark Empire, which is the only Star Wars comic book I've read, or intend to read. Because it is awesome.

Couldn't agree more.

...

Okay, now I couldn't agree more.

Yeah, Shatterpoint's a Clone Wars one, but I think it's the best of the SW books I've read. Zahn did a great job with the Hand of Thrawn, tho'...so I think that comes in close second.

My favorites would be Allegiance (set between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back) and the one right before the Clone Wars, when they're on Antiam.

Outbound Flight is another good one, especially if you like the Hand of Thrawn. Takes place before Episode II

I started reading that one, but had to put it down for some reason. I don't remember what.

I've heard of that one, Darke, but it's not in the library yet. Need to go to the other library soon.

Two libraries?

We just went to one (and it wasn't even in our county  ).

We found out ALONG WITH the local library there IS a limit to how many thing you can check out. They made us stop at 77! They were baffled.
"Do.. you intend to check those all out? I didn't know we HAD a limit."
"Yes, sir."
"There's no way you can read these all before the school year is out."
"We will."
All 77 were read and a new 77 checked back out in 6 days. The librarians tend to either faceplam or laugh when they see us coming.

Oh, yeah: each kid had their own canvas bag (except for me; I had my backpack). And we'd each check out our own. That way we never went 'over limit', if there was one...

Mom was the only one with a library card - for the very reason that if we had our own we'd check out 77 apiece.

Hm. Yeah, well, we went every week, too, so we could take it in fewer numbers, too.

Ah. Well, Dad was to only one to drive at the time, so yeah, it was less frequent.

We'd stay there for a couple hours. ^_^ Then we'd bring home bags of books to read over the week. Of course, I'd be done with them by the next day, and wonder why I hadn't gotten out more...
