Dad had to bring all his Dilbert stuff home. It was very sad. But hilarious for the engineers at the same time; since it got the higher ups that angry. Love Dilbert. (Though Dogbert is my favorite.)

Naturally Dogbert's my favorite, of course. But I also like Wally and the garbage man.

My dad just loves having Dilbert posted up all around. We even have the Dilbert TV show from when it was running. :D

When Dad had to take it down, all we could do was quote it:
"Our surveillance cameras caught you posting this anti-management comic on the wall. This comic compares managers to drunken lemurs. Do you think drunken lemurs are like managers?"
"No. Some lemurs can hold their liquor."
- The Boss and Wally

I remember that. "The knack" is Dad's favorite. :D Catbert, too.

"Why is it unethical to clone humans?"
"Morality is based on accepted norms. And accepted norms are based on morality."
"It's self causing?"
"Ironically, yes."

@Dark: I can say stuff in chinese! My favorite phrase: Ching-wah TSAO duh liou mahng. (Cause no, I don't have characters) though go-se gives a close second. /halo.

EDIT: And of course: "Shee-niou high-tech alliance crap!" -Jayne

LOL...Dad and I love 'the knack'. Our personal favorite, though, is 'the competition', I think.

Say stuff; yes. Say stuff well, with full knowledge of what you're saying and with full respect for the language, no.

Full knowledge of what I'm saying, yes. Full respect the language, no. But really, Jason, since when do I respect anything?

No, because full knowledge involves understanding every cultural implication as well. :P

HA! I asked my older sis' Chinese friends when I met them for a few days. I know very well what I'm saying. They taught her to swear without her knowing - I nearly died laughing - the girl never swears.

 Why? Give Me a reason to respect something, and I'll respect it. Otherwise, why would I? (Manners and stuff don't count as respect for Me, fyi: I was signing "please" at 3 months before getting nursed. They're a way o life; so manners don't = respect.)

Some things or people need respect even when they don't deserve it, primarily because God said so. :)

Which is the real beast when it comes to truly learning Mandarin, or any of the Chinese dialects.

*shrug* I know that, I'm just saying that I never particularly cared about which language I learned. Maybe I should.
