Meh, I never had finals up till last couple semesters, but the Standardized Tests we had to take every couple years killed me just 'cause I don't test well. I can know something cold but the minute you put me in front of a clock and tell me it's really important I'm like "...". And a lot of people don't like finals simply because they haven't been doing the work and need to try to get a passing grade.

But standardized tests are so Easy... You can almost always eliminate half your options with the most baseline knowledge...

Okay, projects are pretty much suck. I'll give you that.

Yeah. So I'm told. But I'm convinced they made them hell for the Homeschoolers; because they were NOT like the ones my public school friends took. You don't pass well enough you get Social Services lookin' into you. (You know, 'cause my mom and dad are horrible people for all that shelter and social/education deprivation that accompanies homeschooling.)

Okay, the latter I can agree with most wholeheartedly, especially since for history that's pretty much ALL I've been doing. (project after project after project....) thankfully only this quarter's history class though.
However, for me the former is only true if I've actually leared half the stuff on the test. For my gym final we were given one day to study a power point that contained all the stuff we needed to learn for the test, but most of the information on it we had never seen before. .....same with my crafts and ceramics midterms, but for them, the day before the test we got all the answers read to us. (still only a B though...)

I sorries. <offers Shadow a consolation hug. And crepes>

I admit I'm biased because I've always found test-taking really easy (as I'm sure I've already talked TOO MUCH about on here X( ).

yeah....the hard part is normally the fact that there is hardly time to think of the questions before time is up :/

Whee, crepes! *hugs Dark back* thanks ^_^

Oh, most tests are easy. Especially science. I seriously can not remember a science test where I got less than an A. (I seriously got an 108% on one) math is okay, history is... somewhat okay, but gym and my art classes? We don't really learn the stuff we take the tests on until a day or so before the test. (cause the classes aren't really ment for tests). English is easy if it's multiple choice or something easy, but I really hate finding things like theme. Or hidden motivations of the characters.

I'm baaaaak!!!! Pictures are coming......once I finally finish unpacking. I had lots of fun, and even found something Key related- Russians drink strawberry juice! That was the option for drink besides 'tea or coffee' at our hotel in Moscow. When I saw it, first thing I thought of was Ki. :P It's very good, too.

I also nearly had a heart attack. At one of the churches we were at, during the service, we heard a very loud prolonged crashing sound from outside, which turned out to be one of the towers on the church wall collapsing into the storage shed behind the church. It was an old church and not really repaired since the communist times. Very scary, though at least no one was hurt. From where it was positioned, it could have just as easily collapsed onto the church. *need a shivery/scared smiley*

But you just got back from a trip, right?? 8D8D8D It didn't feel that way because your usually on here and there anyways! Have a nice trip? Must've been cool going to Russia...

I suspect strawberry juice wont be as thick(I see it as actually very thin like water...) and probably a very sharp taste to it depending on how you make it....

Just brainstorming here.

Did you have some, Elys-san? Was it goooood?

(Ew, Shadow, you basically had fish egg chips?...-SNICKER- FISH AND CHIPS?!)

Yes, Elly, I had some. And it was good- very good. I believe they make it by boiling strawberries in water (so kind of like tea except with fruit).

More pictures coming once Dad finishes with them.
