I always do after awhile of being away, don't I? 8D I feel sort of guilty because I could have checked anytime I wanted too but just didn't. My summer is a bore. And I'm homesick. Homesick real bad. But not for friends or school, just homesick for my house and dad and maybe my brother a smidgen. Homesick for my dogs, too. Remember my puppy, Sada? Q_Q SHE MUST BE MISSING THE HACK OUT OF ME. Everytime I come home from school, she jumps all over me squealing like a rabbid squirrel for ten minutes and I have to move my face away and shove her under my chin so she'll lick my neck insdead of my friggin nose(THE INSIDE NOT OUT.) 8D And I have to take her out while I'm doing it, and hoo it's never easy, lol. Shes so much of me in one little dog. I'm tellin ya, shes odd. I though she'd be so soft and sweet and kind and playful, but shes a friggin MANIAC 8D The little trinket doesn't even like cuddling up tp my chest, she sleeps on my feet or my stomach when im laying on my back 8D And I shift a lot before I go to bed, so if I move too much she'll get up and leave. Sometimes, the door is a little bit open and y'know dogs would just poke their nose through the crack in the door and get out, easy. But HER, Sada whines at the door like it's shut and locked and I have to guide her out the door like shes a retarded dog. 8D8D I had another min pin before her and a boxer(the most loving big lug you'd ever know) who is sort of like the first generation and they got along like two peas in a pot, that little min pin would jump all over the boxer and tag him down and he'd let her. And he'd follow her around like she was boss, lol. But Sada and our american eskimo, LOL. SHE ANNOYS THE CRAP OUT OF HIM. ALWAYS SPAZZING OUT AND JUST BEING STUPID. He doesn't really like her 8D I LOVE THAT THING. Really miss 'er. DO YOUR PETS DO STUPID STUFFZ? |

my doggy would wake me up in the morning...she liked to wake up around 5AM when the sun was just barely rising XD oh i could write volumes about her ^^ and you know what they say, "pets look like their owners" it's really true...they tend to take on the same characteristics of the personn they are closest with... (i guess people do the same sometimes...take on bits of personality from the people they feel closest to) but before the person-like dog was the dog-like hamster...another collection of fun stories

Oh gosh, I think I do look at tad like her. I've taken her and looked at both of us in the mirror, but I say shes way cuter than me. 8D My other min pin used to wake me up in the morning, too. Scratch at me and claw until I get up and take her out. 8D |

I think it's more that people tend to choose pets that look like them (because people are innately narcissistic in liking things that remind them of themselves). And perhaps they groom them to a style similar to themselves. They actually did a study about it: http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn4837-dogs-do-resemble-their-owners-finds-study.html. |

well, sorry, towr...but i didn't choose my hamster or my dog..they were both random gifts for birthdays and they both ended up having amazingly similar personalities in other words, yes they can actually have something in their appearance, but what i am saying is that they would also resemble the owner in character (dog even hated getting shots...so she even took on my fears...you aren't gonna tell me that isn't interesting) |

If they were birthday gifts, then I'd assume they were chosen for you. Surely people would pick a pet they thought would suit you, rather than one they thought wouldn't. I wouldn't expect dogs in general to like getting shots, but that must just be me. Oh, well, I can guess where this conversation's going. Happy dreaming, I'm outta here. |

neededn't be scared of me, towr...just saying my random observations...as usualand if you knew the one who gave them to me...you would know the first paragraph there was not a factor ![]() i've seen dogs of all kinds...some are just so dumb they actually enjoy vet visits...when we went, all the other dogs big and small were happy and oblivious, whereas mine was the only one shivering like no tomorrow (it even stopped her from trying to play with other dogs...something she wouldn't resist otherwise)yeah...i could go on forever :/ |

My cat woke me up today the way she always wakes people up - she puts her abnormally wet nose on your lips and breathes as fast as she can until you wake up. Also, she slept on my head last night, which was fine until she started drooling. I'd say towr is just trying to leave before a fight comes up, Kari. I don't think you scare him. (Which is good; because, let's face it - Jason and Me do the ill-nature fighting around here.) Though I have yet to see an animal look like it's owner without some modifying in the way of hair or something. But on the other hand I've seen a few animals that remind me of unrelated people. yeah, in my book being worried of conflict with me is the same as being scared of me...i guess i can be scary (since appearently i can never write clearly enough for anyone to truly understand the point i'm trying to explain) seems more like he's just fed up with me at this point...which only makes sense considering the past...discussions ONE DAY, towr...one day i'll be able to write out my point clearly enough the first time that you won't need to worry about lost interpretations XP |

I'd do it Elly, but I still kinda need all of my bones. If I find a way to make do without one you'll be the one to get it though. |

Nah, I just keep it well-insulated so the heat doesn't escape. Thanks, *hugs* Yeah, no good comes of fighting; it's just a fruitless expenditure of energy. *throws a dinosaur bone at Elly, which she deftly catches square in the face, knocking her out* ... ... I, err, I guess I should have told her to catch it.. ... And not thrown it so enthusiastically.. ... And picked a smaller bone.. ... |
