No I'm curious about the type of snake.
I think I've mentioned here before how people say rattlesnake tastes like chicken. It really doesn't.

Some people disagree. Maybe it depends on the rattle-snake, or the chicken, or which parts you eat. I dunno. As far as I know I've never tasted snake, rattle or otherwise :P

Some suggest all tetrapods except mammals taste like chicken due to common ancestry. (And a snake, despite the lack of feet, is a tetrapod.) But let's be fair here, even different parts of the same chicken don't taste the same, so what would "tastes like chicken" mean, really?

maybe they'd be referring to the texture? never had snake, either, so i wouldn't know the comparison there

but i have had duck...and the flavor is a small tad different, but really that one can be compared by the texture (despite that it's tougher to chew)

then again, it's still a bird, so it stands to reason it'd be comparable....reptiles are more closely related to birds, though...so i'd imagine it might be similar in the consistency of the meat.....

all speculation, though :/

I have yet to experience duck that isn't overly greasy. towr makes a good point that different parts of the same chicken differ (in both flavor and texture in my experience), so who's to say?

Johnny was a chemist.
Now Johnny is no more.
For what he thought was H2O,
Was H2SO4.

DO:
Yell "Land ho!" when you're a sailor on a long sea voyage and you spot land.

DON'T:
Yell "Land ho!" at your pilot when you want her to land the plane.

Funnily enough, pure H2SO4 doesn't actually do much. It's a popular demonstration to put a drop of pure sulfuric acid on your hand and show it doesn't do anything much.
It's not until you add some water that the acid starts to eat at stuff. (So if you ever do above party trick, be sure to use a tissue to wipe the sulfuric acid off, and not to use water).

I think I could think of enough safer party tricks (especially as I'm pretty sure my hand would start sweating after not at All very long with that on it) that I'm just going to stick with not trying that one.

Especially as pure it's a Little harder to get a hold of. When I worked at TTM we actually had to downgrade from getting in 97% to twice as much 50% concentration because buying 97% apparently raised red flags on terror watchlists.

Yeah, probably a good idea not to try it. Even aside from getting on terror watchlists.
