[-Pits of Hell-]
A secluded and hidden cavern that sits deep beneath the prison. Only a few know of its existence. Is it a place of lost souls? Or a breeding chambers for pretty scribes!?.

says to ALL: The preceding day had been exhausting. I had no words...in my mind there were no words...at what he had asked of me. The irony of this situation was not lost. He had me confess to something I had not done and here he was, with his smug arrogance that draped him like a permanent cloak, possessing the very thing I was accussed of stealing. Who would hang him and place his head on a spike should I ever reveal he possessed this map of Laura. Each fiber of my being was ignited with rage. I was not only angry at him but at myself as well. The only way out of this hole was to do as he asked, but once completed, the thought of fleeing not only this city but him had weighed heavily on my mind.

I turned to the table and saw a note left presumably by him. I snorted some, shocked he was smart enough to know any penmanship at all. It was obvious that the -only- way out of here was by doing as he asked, though his word held no weight with me. I wasn't entirely certain who trusted less...he or I. Despite his words it was -not- that simple. He was asking me to do something that was...wrong. The thought of being caught weighed heavily. Even -he- had to know that this was wrong and it was my blood that would ooze from these pages should anyone ever find out what I had done, not his. Bare fingers brushed so gently over the rence paper before me as my mind dipped deeper in thought.

says to ALL: Sapphire gaze drifted easily to his note again. I snorted softly at how he had signed it. Volstagg the Savage Sleen was more fitting I concluded before picking up the Quill. I cared so very little of the power he had spoken of. Power for who? Certainly not me. I had been condemned to these pits of Hell until I had produced exactly what he wished. There was no humor here within these somber and dismal walls, yet I found a small chuckle creep past parted lips. Drawing maps was not what I -did-. I was a record keeper, not a map maker. I found such things too drab and boring for my taste...yet here I was, relying on my skills as a Scribe to keep me alive long enough to get out of this pit and far away from from him.

With quill in hand I began to draw my attention to the map he -did- possess, drawing my attention to the long wooden ramps that lead from the Laurius River to the small town. It was then, as I surveyed this map, did I realize the detail it possessed. These same ramps weaved their way through this small town from the river pier, past several crowded warehouses. As I looked even further, I noticed there would be very few ways to enter. Certainly one could travel by tarn or wagons, but what I was certain Volstagg would want to know, was how to enter by water. As I traced the Larius River west from Lydius, I surmised that perhaps a barge could make it's way but nothing larger than that.
