it would have to be a pretty big computer the universe is perhaps pretty small if you think about it. Even a computer the size of the universe can't brute-force chess. If the universe were much bigger it would be trivial, pefhaps |

idk if i did the math right but i think it would take someone twenty quintillion years to walk from one end of the universe to the other without breaks the universe is getting bigger though it might also be getting more empty too though, and i imagine there are limits to what you can do with empty space in a computer |

twenty quintillion is not a very big number in the grander scheme of things |

i was planning to make a large castle in the universe but it isn't really big enough i hope we are being simulated and i can escape the simulation into a bigger universe so that i can build my castle there it would have to be a lot bigger though |

20 quintillion years is an incomprehensible amount of time but lots of things are incomprehensible i want something that isn't just incomprehensibly large, i want something that is indescribably large. |

http://bigthink.com/ideafeed/computer-plays-chess-without-brute-forcing-solutions i googled brute forcing chess and came up w/this tho i am still a bit confused about the entire concept http://www.simulation-argument.com/simulation.html i wonder whether it matters whether or not we are part of a computer simulation how can the universe b infinite and also finite i probably knew in 12th grade astronomy but i forgot |
