Other than recruitment, do you have any ideas for building and growing Merridel? |

Making citizenship more exclusive will only turn off people considering getting involved in Merridel. Require a nation in the region and a promise to respect our laws. Otherwise we engage them, and make sure our telegrams are targeting the sort of people we need. Aside from recruitment we have word of mouth, be exceptional enough people tell their friends about Merridel, have an active and focused government, and RP that is active and consistent with our theme, build relations with regions who have similar goals to us to attract people from them, have a Nationstates gameplay thread discussing news. I don't know out of this list what we currently do. |

I agree with Coherbia in that restricting citizenship to WA nations isn't a good idea. Many people, including me, need to keep a mobile WA for practical reasons and we shouldn't restrict that. Another strategy we can use to help integrate people is simply to make them feel welcomed. Say hello to them on the RMB, on Discord. Make them feel at home and help them ease into the region. |
