Help; Problem with my trueno

Help guys i have an ae101 trueno witht the silver top 4age in it and 2 weeks ago it decided to just stop working...

when i try to start the engine, it keeps turning over, but no spark is getting to the ylinders... i have taken it to an auto electrition and we thought it might have been the computer. but today i bought in a working levin and borrowed its computer, and it still did the same thing...

any ideas guys. has this hapend to u... cos im really missing my car!!!

sounds like a fuel / sparking problem.. change spark plugs? leads?

Yeah the leads and plugs r fine. there is no spark even coming from the coil!!! :blink:

so yeah i dunno aye...

We finaly found the problem... and it actually had nothing to do with the ignition... the air flow meter was shorting... nd so da computer wouldnt let it start... but now it is running lumpy for sum reason... and like we tried a new meter... but to no avail... <_<

make sure the meter is for your car not one that fits

try re-setting the ecu

Na it was the original meter... that was sweet as tho...

we found that as some of the work trying to fix the other problem was being done the timing had gone out, and now its sweet as!!! and not its properly tuned for good gas, and more power its going better than ever!
