Common Name: Twin Crested Viper Tooth
Specific name: Dilophosaurus wetherilli

Diet: Carnivore
Behavioral Traits: Twin Crested Viper Tooths are a fairly docile species, especially when compared to the other two species in the park. Typically found relaxing in or near the waters edge, they will typically mind their own business, making them one of the few carnivores in the park that keepers can physically enter their exhibit.Twin Crested Viper Tooths are unique amongst our venomous trio in that they are the only ones to not actively hunt, even though they posses the strongest venom of the group. Unlike the Greater Crested Viper Tooth ( Monolophosaurus jangi), or the Crestless or Lesser Viper Tooth (Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis), Twin Crested Viper Tooths are primarily piscivores, feeding on the various fish species found in their ponds, which are regularly restocked, and will only actively use their venom if their personal space is invaded or they feel threatened
Favored Environment: Marshy wetlands, with plenty of water and land
Ecology: Mostly docile, will gladly respect you're space provided you respect its. Will give two warning hisses before attacking if they feel you're getting two close. Two bites in quick succession is the usual attack pattern, usually injecting enough venom to kill a man in a few minutes.
Special Notes: Fish are to be restocked every week to ensure a health supply of food.
