Chromedome couldn't believe he got himself hurt like this,he had messed something up in his leg which made it hard for him to walk he dosen't remember what happened,he might have broken something when he got up from recharging because that's where the pain started and got worse over the day, which lead him here in the medical bay on one of the tables silently sitting there watching all of the medics work,First-aid had ran off to get some things to fix his leg and Chromedome was hoping he could get this fixed before Rewind finds out he was hurt. |

Helloooooo Nurse

The medbay had been mostly quiet this morning. First Aid had a small queue of minor injuries and ailments to care for upon walking into the bay, but nothing serious. It was more excuses than anything, overcharged bots with nothing better to do or minor scratches that needed buffing. All in all, it was an excuse for them to come in and make puppy eyes, complement the cute nurse, and feel good about themselves. With First Aid, it was hard to leave the medbay not feeling good. Sweet care was his specialty, unlike Ratchet’s unique brand of medical practice. But who was the CMO big shot now? Not Ratchet, this guy. Waving off the last of his patients, First Aid was feeling great. It wasn’t like his work on Delphi where everything was an extreme, and while he almost missed that high stakes surgery practice, this was far more lax and better on his processor. That is, when you know, the Lost Light wasn’t doing anything crazy. Just as First Aid sat down, about to cradle his head in his hands and go through one of his digital photo albums he lifted his head. There was another patient. Chromedome. And he was… Limping? Not good. Getting up immediately, Aid rushed a wheelchair over to Chromedome. Sure, he had already walked on his bad leg all the way down to the medbay, but it was best to get the mech off his leg as soon as possible. His visor was a glow, already starting to scan the area. “Ah, Chromedome, please, sit down. I’ll bring you to a berth, do you mind describing what happened?” |

Chromedome sat down in the wheelchair, letting out a long sigh "I got out of my berth his morning and I heard a soft crack from a leg but it didn't hurt so I ignored it a first but now it's really hurting.........I think I just put too much stress onto it in the last couple of days and it just couldn't take it anymore" he said hoping that was what had happened just something small breaking not nothing to important that he has to be in the medical bay for a couple of days. Rewind would kill him if that was so. |

Once Chromedome was secure and seated, First Aid pushed the wheelchair with little difficulty over to one of the berths in the medbay. It was easy work to get Chromedome up from the chair and onto the berth, the orange mech with his legs lying flat on the berth’s surface. “You mentioned previous stress to the area? Is this a first time pain or an ongoing thing?” When First Aid first saw Chromedome enter the medbay First Aid would have bet that it was a recharge issue. Something that could be dealt with using different prescriptions. While this was an easier fix, it was just not what the CMO had expected. Optics lit up his visor brightly, quickly giving the area a full scan. Nothing too difficult to repair, more or less some reattaching and a little welding, but Chromedome would still have to sit a little while afterwards to ensure that everything had mended properly. He’d like to get things correct the first time around, especially with joint repair. “Mind if I ask what you had done to put stress on the joint in the first place? It will give me better idea the way to go about fixing it so that you don’t experience this kind of tension and discomfort again.” |

"well I had noticed a slight sting of pain whenever I would have to run in the last couple of weeks but I just thought it was from some of the wires getting messed up or something..........and I gusse what could have started all of this is all of the times during a fight I get hit and it causes my leg bend oddly" he said watching First-aid scan him, wanting to help the medic the best he could |

“Thank you for being honest, Chromedome, this actually answers a lot of my questions…” First thing first though, First Aid was quick to turn off any pain receptors in Chromedome’s leg, that way as he poked around the mech wouldn’t feel anything. Well, not yet anyways. “I do know that you have a piece in the joint that had broken off, bent at a bit of an angle. With what you’ve told me, sounds like a bit of rough movement and stress on the joint caused it to snap and now it’s pinching some of the wiring in your knee. Easy fix though, no worries.” First Aid practically cooed with how confident he felt, able to analyze the issue quickly without much prodding of the injury. Chromedome had no worries, not with Aid taking care of him. Now that the leg would be unable to move or feel anything, First Aid could get to work. Reaching in with a pair of large tweezers, First Aid’s optics lit up, using the light to help him see into the joint and fish for the main metal piece that had snapped. Once he had a firm grip, slowly he pulled and weaved it out of the mess of wires. He’d need to straighten that mess out before fixing the loose piece. “So, other than getting yourself hurt, how are you doing?” |

"Oh everything has been fine besides you know.......breaking my leg" he said softly watching First-aid work on him "How have you been First-aid?" he said tilting his head knowing that he had talked to First-aid sense the last time he was in the medical bay and that was who knows how long ago, plus he didn't want there to be a awkward silence when the medic was working on him |

"Yeah, the last time I saw you things weren't too good either. So I mean, the broken leg is hardly anything compared to that. Still, it's gonna be an easy fix. I promise." Smiling through his optics, First Aid reached over and gave Chromedome's good knee a reassuring pat. "How have I been? It differs day by day. A little lonely, but, it's nothing I can't handle." He spoke the words with confidence, but he really wasn't too sure. Still. It was time to reach in and start untangling those wires. Chromedome would learn just how delicate Aid's hands could be. "This is really going to ease the tension when you stand. You're going to feel good as new, I promise." |

Chromedome nods his head in understandment of what First-aid said, "Alright........so how are you today?" He said softly seeing that First-aid's emotions were like a rollercoaster He sat there watching First-aid work on his leg, sighing softly he was still a bit surprised by the fact that he had hurt himself but well it happened and luckily he got to the medical bay before Rewind noticed him |

The question caught him a little off guard, though it didn't stop him as he continued to untangle the wires. He had to work each cord one at a time, otherwise there was risk of pinching and causing further damage. "Me? I'm doing alright." A bit of an overstatement, but for now it held truth. "I can't say that it's a constant, but as far as right now goes things are okay. I'm hoping to catch up on my reading soon, since there has been less injuries to treat. I worry I'll get rusty if I don't study up." Slowly they were all untangled, it was time to start re-attaching that loose piece. First Aid gave a soft hum. Perhaps he should reinforce it this time around. That seemed like a smart choice. |
