A small smile crossed Jitter's lips at the encouragement. He could only hope that he'd be able to fit in. From the sound of it, Velocity had been in the same position as he was, new to the ship, with little to no knowledge of the war over the last four million years, and having to find a commonality among the crew to befriend and fit in with the others. "Thank you, Velocity. I'm glad for the advice."

He'd have a lot of time to find others he had enough in common with to start friendships with. This quest the ship was undertaking seemed like it was going to take a long time, with detours and searching to do. Jitter could take that time to make some friends. Even if he was a little socially awkward, excitable, rattled off a bit. From the sound of it, he might just fit in with some of the others on the ship. And if the ship ever came across Trencadis and Lacuna, he'd be able to help his friends fit in with the crew.

Jitter looked towards Swerve again and hesitated, just a little nervous. "Alright. I'll go talk to him. Thank you for the help. Is it alright if I talk to you again later?"

So much panic, so little time!
She grinned--happy for both not managing to scare away the new guy and for the fact that, well, this was gloriously mundane, in a way!

"Sure--any time. It's not like I'm hard to find, really..." She considered. Being one of only a handful of medics meant she partially lived in the medibay, after all.
