He'd been placed on the decepticon floor anyways, and couldn't find it in him to entirely blame Rodimus. When one was a decepticon for the better part of four million years, it wasn't farfetched that others would not be so quick to trust him. Especially after the things he'd done.

So, Shockwave didn't complain, residing away from the Decepticons, on a more quiet, lonely part of the floor. He'd allowed his blaster to be confiscated, and had visited the medibay sometime afterwards to be fitted with a new arm, this time with a hand. It took him some time to get used to the sensation of fingers again, nearly all of his sensors having been rerouted to his opposite hand for literally, millions of years. He hoped, to perhaps replace his head with one that had a face, eventually. Seeing his reflection might've made him physically ill if he didn't take energon intravenously, leaving his tanks unused and empty. It wasn't so awful now, the purple freshly painted over with soft blue, and white, with gold accents. Finally bearable.

He made his way back to his room, mind wandering, not on experiments and equations and how far he could take variables, but instead, it nestled itself into the little place in his spark he'd saved for his students. Shockwave couldn't thank Skids enough for believing him, for accepting him, and helping as he had. He'd never be able to, really. He stopped in front of his door, punching in the code to get in--

That was odd. He attempted a few more times, the PIN input beeping angrily at him, his wings twitching with every shrill noise. Perhaps had he forgotten it? Shockwave tried a couple more times, stopping when the sound became grating.

He looked at the number on the door, embarrassment flooding through his systems. Oops. He'd been so preoccupied in his own thoughts he'd ended up in front of the wrong door. He hoped, that perhaps, it wasn't occupied, but a quick scan of nearby spark signatures told him that it certainly was.

"I... I apologize for the disturbance." He called out to the occupant of the hab, sheepish.
