"that is true, the one time I saw Rodimus before the lost light he was out of control but now he seems to be able to control himself a bit better......I just like to joke about it once and a while" She said taking a long pause at the fact of Skids bringing up Megatron, she wasn't all for the idea of giving the war lord a second chance, and was even less happy knowing that he was gonna be co captain, but over time she has noticed change for the better in the mech.

".....Rodimus and Megatron are great captains and maybe even over more time they will get even better, both have their flaws and they both lean on each other to keep everything from going to hell" She said before picking up her glass and taking a drink out of it. "I just think people need to learn to see he is trying his best before trying to.........murder him" She said putting her glass down.

She nods her head softly "yeah I'll have to remember to do talk to him tommorw, and I know Ten is a very kind bot. Normally when Swerve's wasn't too busy he would come over and watch me draw, sometimes I let him sit with me......he's a big sweet heart" She said softly her tone of voice getting a bit softer talking about Ten,she didn't notice this but when she dose talk positively about others she dose get that tone

"I'm not saying he's fully matured," Skids said with a grin. "By all means, joke about it. We're allowed to have a little fun at the captain's expense. Both of them, if you want to, since, frankly, Megatron's fair game nowadays." The older mech was beginning to loosen up and try to join in on the banter going around on the ship and Skids, for one, felt a fair bit comfortable joking around about Megatron. Then again, when had Skids really ever felt uncomfortable with a bit of light-sparked banter?

Skids gave a nod at Neon's assessment. She'd said pretty much exactly how Skids felt about both the captains. It was interesting to watch the dynamic between Rodimus and Megatron grow and change over the last several months since Optimus had put Megatron on board. While he knew that Rodimus had very much been against it, protesting so much that Optimus made up the title of co-captain to pacify the younger mech, Skids had seen Rodimus go from rebellion to acceptance and to easily working with Megatron. It was impressive to see how the two of them had started to work together.

Another nod at the mention of trying to murder Megatron. "Also, the whole reason he's on board in the first place is so we can get him to the Knights of Cybertron for them to judge his actions," he pointed out. "Whether he's changed or not won't stop justice from being served. He really does deserve to be punished for the part he played in the war and what it did to our planet and population. The things he's responsible for, I couldn't count how many there are - the Uprising, the Remote Age, the Surge; the Simanzi Massacre; not to mention the death camps like Grindco - "

The dreaded name didn't make it all the way out of his mouth before his vocalizer just quit. He'd just been ready to pick his glass up again, hand wrapped around it, but now his hand froze. His optics shuttered tight, though they were shockingly bright through the slit left. His head ached terribly and he hunched forward, giving a sharp hiss of pain. His free hand came up to his helm in a futile attempt to stem the pain.

He was back in the cell he shared with Quark, the scientist lecturing him about Tarn and every reason they had not to trust the Commandant's word that he'd transport fifty prisoners if Skids repaired the teleporter. Music was playing over the speakers throughout the camp, every cell filled with the Empyrean Suite.

The glass in Skids' hand shattered suddenly from the pressure of his grip, engex splashing over his hand and the table. The sound of the glass breaking broke through the memory and Skids' optics opened again. He let his hand unfurl and, fairly shaken, he glanced towards Neon before apologizing. "S-sorry about that."

Neon was listening to Skids, watching him talk. What Skids was saying about Megatron was very true, everything he did was horrible and when....well if they found the knights of cybertron, then they were the ones to see if Megatron was truly guilty of his crimes. She enjoyed talking to Skids, even if they are polar opposite personality wise they seem to share the same points of view.

She was about to pick up her cup of engex to take another long drink when she heard Skids stop mid sentence. This made her stop and look up at Skids. Her eyes widen slightly with worry seeing his suddenly putting his hand to his head in some sort of pain, she slowly reached across the table gently grabbing his hand that was wrapped tightly around the glass cup. "Skids are you alri-" She was cut off by the glass in Skids's hand breaking.

The Engex covered her hand as well, she moves her hand back seeing his eyes opening again, but it didn't take her long to put it back onto Skids seeing his shaking, whatever just happen most have shaken up the mech pretty badly to cause him to shake this badly, sorry what was he sorry about? well most likely scaring the crap out of the femme. She didn't even noticed her optics were still pretty big from the shock and worry for the mech "No it's fine Skids........are you alright?" She said softly with a bit of worry in her voice

"Y-yeah, I think so," Skids replied, though he clearly wasn't. His frame was still shaking and the moment Neon had returned her hand to his, he was gripping instinctively. His other hand dropped from his helm and he started picking up pieces of his shattered glass from the table. "I just...the flashbacks don't usually come so suddenly like that."

He hadn't had any flashbacks, come to think of it, since Chromedome had suppressed his memories after Sunder's attack. He'd been purposefully avoiding further attempts to remember. To suddenly find himself feeling as though he was sitting in that cell again, Quark right in front of him instead of Neon, it had thrown him completely off his guard. Had Sunder woken more than they'd all realized when Rung and Chromedome had been so quick to protect him from the attack and the memories that had been stirred? It couldn't be the engex triggering his memories; he'd drank at Swerve's from the first night it opened with no affect on his memories like this. He and Neon had never had a conversation before, so she couldn't be what was causing him flashback.

So what was the trigger?

The bar was awfully quiet, he realized. The sound of the glass breaking had caused the other patrons to cease their own conversations and look towards the table where Skids and Neon sat. The only sound, besides the dull thudding in his head, was the music that played over the speakers in the bar. The music was loud to Skids' audio receptors, too loud; he couldn't hear himself think...

Lights flashed on, blindingly bright as the Empyrean Suite began to play. Fifty mechs, grouped together in the chamber, clapped their hands over their audio receptors. Quark's hands were grasping at his helm, trying to block out the music that was too loud in the teleporter. "So loud! Can't hear myself think!"

A horrible realization came to Skids, his quick mind putting all the pieces together from the repairs he'd done and the grooves in the floor. His optics went wide as terror gripped his spark and the words that fell from his lips were barely audible over the music. "Or scream..."

Skids' spark felt tight and hot - too hot, like it was burning in his chest. "Oh, Primus..."

She slowly nods her head, holding Skids's hand softly not sure what was really going on,but she knew what ever it was might have something to do with the memories problem. She silently watched Skids pick up the broken glass, she helped him with her free hand not wanting to let go of his hand, she knew it was most likely comforting him.

She stops what she was doing and turned her head noticing Skids was looking at something, seeing the other bots in the bar was staring at them silent, this made her optics narrowed and a soft growl escaped her voicizer. She noticed a few of the bots weren't staring at her they were looking at Skids,She turned her head to look at the mech. Seeing he was zoning out again, this made her worried more she reached across the table putting her free hand on his cheek.

She could feel the heat coming from his spark camber, and frowned behind her mask. Skids can say that again What in the name of primus is going on?! She took in a deep intake trying to keep calm. " Do you want me to take you to a medic......or someone who might help?"

It's never been this bad. Even through the terrible ache in his processor and the heat his spark was generating. He'd always had a processor ache whenever he tried to think past the mental block that both Rung and Chromedome insisted was for his own protection, but it had never been as sharp and painful as this and the burning of his spark was new. Even when Sunder had been forcing his memories to surface, his spark had never reacted like this.

"Skids!" Quark reached for him, but Skids couldn't reach him before he was pulled out of the chamber. The heat that had been building up around him and the others in the chamber was replaced with a sudden harsh coolness as he reappeared in Tarn's office.

"It was an incinerator...!" Skids was horrified at the memory and his grip tightened on Neon's hand. The hand she put on his cheek anchored him in the present and her hand was cooler than he was at this point. "Quark, I'm sorry. I need...I need to talk to Brainstorm!"

He had to apologize to Brainstorm. He'd never be able to make it up to him, but oh Primus, he had to apologize, over and over and over. It was his fault. All this time since Skids had come on board, had befriended Brainstorm, he'd had no idea how much pain he'd caused his friend.

"Neon, I have to tell him...!"

Wait Quark? who's Quark I think I know that name ummm OH Brainstorm had nearly killed Megatron for that bot,by going back in time she remembered the case about it,she didn't stay at it long. "Skids you need to wait you're overheating badly, lets get you cooled down before you go running around" she said softly

Oh primus what did Skids have to go through? Well whatever it was,she was the only one who can help him right now,he's stressed, over heating, and in pain physically and emotionally. She was trying to think of how to cool the mech down, not even noticing their hands were still together, and to the other bots staring at them it might have met something else to them. But truth be told she didn't care what the other though she was worried about Skids right now.

Skids shook his head. He'd off-lined his optics at this point, trying to block out the visions of death in his processor, the prisoners of Grindcore - Quark - being melted down for scrap and sentio metallico, all so Tarn could build MTOs for Megatron. Despite his attempts, all he could see was the molten mess of twisted metal, skeletal faces with silent screams and hands stretched out from the slag - Quark's helm, melting and dripping, the distinct shape of his helm distorted by the heat.

"Neon, what have I done?" Skids' voice was quiet, but filled with a horror that had a couple of other nearby patrons coming over to help. "It's my fault...he'd still be here if it wasn't for me! All of them would be!"

One of the nearby mechs came close, putting his hand on Skids' shoulder. "Skids, are you - "

The question was cut off as Skids' optics came back online, wide and shocked as a bright blue light surged from Skids' spark. The sudden pulse knocked those standing off their feet and it was only because Skids and Neon were still at the table that they weren't thrown.

Neon was gently rubbing Skids's hand with her thumb, she was worried about the mech and what he was saying, wait this all started when he was listening off places and he was about to say Grindcore,OH that's right Quark died at a prison camp but was it grindcore. She'll have to check into this but by the way Skids was acting,it's telling her that they were at the same camp together.

She snaps out of her thoughts seeing the other mechs walking over to them, she watched as the one mech put his hand on Skids's shoulder. The second he touched Skids she had a bad feeling. When the blue wave of energy came out Neon felt her spark skip a beat, but once it pasted by not knocking her over, she stood up going over to Skids's side of the table to check on him.

"Visages" was a bit of a mess when the light from the spark surge settled. Mechs who'd been knocked over were pushing themselves up, the plants that Mirage had decorated his bar with were knocked on their sides, glasses were shattered, engex thrown over the floor and tables. Skids was slumped forward at the table, optics offline again, systems quiet as he flirted with unconsciousness. His spark still felt tight - too tight, like it was struggling to stay bright. He needed to stay conscious, he needed to get to Brainstorm. It took him a few long moments to get his optics to come online and even longer for him to gather the strength to move.

"I've...got to - " Skids' words were cut off as he fell from his seat to the floor. His body refused to move, the horror of what he'd done consuming him and the spark surge sapping all his strength.

The mech who'd touched Skids pushed himself off the floor. "Someone comm a medic!" he shouted. He turned to Neon. "Keep him still! Don't let him move."

She hadn't noticed the state of the bar,and really she didn't care she was more worried about Skids and the state he was in,she got to him just as he hit the floor. Right away she got onto her kneels and lifted Skids's head onto her lap,she looks at the mech telling her not to let Skids's move, that's when she really noticed the state of "Visages",she nodded her head before looking back at Skids petting his helm.

Another mech started to comm one of the medics as the other mechs moved stuff out of the door way to make sure the medics can get inside.

Neon was silently whispering to Skids, "It's alright Skids you just need to rest and when you're better you can tell Brainstorm .....I promise you Brainstorm will find out what happened to Quark" She said softly trying to make Skids feel better and also to keep him from trying to get up,not wanting him to stress himself out more.

Skids was only vaguely aware of his surroundings anymore; he was caught up in the memories of Grindcore, the things he'd let happen there because of his naivety. He'd let himself be tricked by Tarn, had fallen for the ruse of a teleporter at Grindcore, had repaired said "teleporter" and caused, if indirectly, the deaths of hundreds of mechs, including the beloved of one of his now closest friends.

"I'm scum..." Skids whispered. He slumped against Neon, his horror turning to self-depreciation. He shouldn't be on this ship, with Brainstorm or anyone else affected by the deaths at Grindcore. He shouldn't be online; he was only there because Tarn had pulled him out of the smelting chamber, to torture him further. "Primus foraake me, I'm such scum."

Though all the movement and talking around her,she still could hear Skids cold words about himself, scum? Skids was one of the nicest bots on the ship that word would have never used to describe the blue mech. She was shocked to even think that Skids would say that about himself, she gently pets his helm. Sadly Neon has seen other mechs and femme do the same thing before but not as bad as this and not someone who looked so happy.

She lets out a deep sigh before saying not even caring if those around her could hear her. "Skids.....once we get a medic to look at you I'll help you to Brainstorm.......so he can hear everything you need to tell him then I want you to tell me.........something that can cause all of this can't be kept in....." she said still petting his helm, her spark ached seeing this someone who was so happy just from one word taken down to their lowest.

Skids shook his head and just the small gesture took so much effort, he was so weakened from the spark surge. His body was beginning to cool from the surge and he shook from the chill that was beginning to sweep over him in addition to the nightmare that he lived over and over. "I killed them all..."

He was barely processing what Neon was saying, but the touch to his helm did offer some comfort. Her gentleness anchored him and the part of him that was still coherent was grateful, though he didn't think he deserved such care. Not after what he did. Nothing he could do would ever make up for what he'd let happen at Grindcore. "Tell Brainstorm I'm sorry..."

" I won't have to tell Brainstorm because you are.......you're gonna be okay Skids" She said looking down at him,she still pet his helm seeing that Skids might have enjoyed the small act of kindness, she lets out a soft sigh looking around at all the other bots who were trying to help Skids, she also took in the damage of the bar.

She stops and looks back down at Skids, she could feel that he was starting to cool down, which was good the overheating might kill him so that was one problem that was gone. Now there are many more to deal with.
