Amongst the first guests of Swerve's bar aboard the Lost Light, Skyshade always stood in front of the entrance exactly 5 minutes and 47 seconds before the opening, whenever he felt like hitting the bar. There was a reason behind his punctuality - the most secluded table only had a solo seat and he would hate to see someone else sitting on his self proclaimed place. That had never happened so far, but his tingling sensation hinted him that it could happen anytime. Wanting to avoid an awkward moment of finding another table while being watched by dozens of optics, he made sure to be the first guest of the day.

However, this time, he was 3 hours late since the opening. Quite unusual for him whenever he decided to spend his day in the bar. His raptor-like feet dragged him to his designated (and still unoccupied) place, slumping on his seat tiredly, as if he hadn't recharged at all. He put his personal datapad on the table, releasing a long-lasting sigh out of his vents, slouching in the chair like some student wishing the class to be over soon. After what seemed to be an eternity, he finally made himself to work on his datapad; but before that, he had ordered a glass of rather a powerful Engex which was strange for him. He always ordered something weak, that only made bots tipsy at maximum, not to mention he never drank more than two drinks.

As he was working on his datapad - clearing out the junk mail, drawing new sketches of some interior design, replying to his customers - the orders just kept coming, the drinks containing different percentage of strength. The signs of intoxication were getting clear after a 2nd round of Skyshade's session of drinking. After the 4th drink, Skyshade began to drink like a monster.

At this point, he did not a give a single damn about whatever activity he had been doing; he barely kept himself composed properly, his visor flickering almost like a rave party, his mouthplate accidentaly shifting back over his mouth few times, resulting into an unsuccessful ingestion of Engex. After several embarassing attempts, he locked his mouthplate for good, his expression being readable just by looking at his mouth. The varying levels of grumpiness and disgust could be seen, hell he even rivaled Ratchet in the grouchiness field.

After the 6th round, things went down the very unpredictable way.
Now other customers were becoming wary of the chicken-legged bot sitting by himself in the corner, sending anyone death glares from underneath his visor who got too close to his imaginary borders. It was when someone invaded his territory, causing Skyshade to react in the violent manner like anykind of drunk bot - he grabbed the nearest glass, launched himself into a fighting stance and tossed the glass at whoever that person was - not really caring if it hit the target, hit something or someone else in the bar.

So much panic, so little time!
((Ooc: This is screwing with Nickel's timeline a bit, but I'm bored and you looked like you needed some amusement here))

It didn't hit someone per se, but it came close. Nickel--having busted out of her makeshift quarantine--had decided on a more thorough exploratory ramble before what she hoped was a reunion with some of the fragments of her team. She knew the main part of the ship was going to be off limits, there being a very strict 'dress code' policy when it came to what you had branded on yourself. And, well, this being one of the main gathering places for the Autobots, it made sense for her to scout.

She hadn't been counting on a downright angry drunk throwing the glasswear and probably blowing her cover. Not that she didn't look a sight, herself; a very small Decepticon skulking around (currently just out of sight under a table), half dancing away from the projectile and glaring bloody murder at Skyshade. Well, trying to glare bloody murder. She probably looked more than a shade comically offended at the broken glass that had nearly hit her square in the face.

((ooc - it's alright buddy! also im typing from my phone so the reply might have some typos. anyway, i got super excited to find a reply here aaaaaaaa ty))

A scenario - Skyshade standing on the table with a threatening posture, towering over someone he didn't recognize thanks to his intoxicated state, and glass shattering due to the impact with the ground - several sane and sober bots located the closest to Nickel and Skyshade made a wise decision to clear out the space seeing someone exhibiting a violent outburst. Skyshade was a danger for others since he was a walking tomb of hidden secrets; however, one thing almost everyone knew whenever his name was mentioned, was Skyshade's unpredictable nature and his incredibely strong legs. And now, being drunk and going through the aggressive part of it, the hard-to-read factor doubled, meaning he did not only pose as a threat to the public, but also to himself.

Someone might have gone to report the drama to Swerve, but that bot had gone unnoticed by Skyshade. Currently, he was more invested in sending his most deadly glares from underneath his visor, having a staredown with Nickel. Actually, Nickel should have been glad for not being directly in the spotlight - the other bot's looming, intimidating posture was eye-catching, except for his struggles to keep his balance in check.

Being outraged with Nickel not deciding to back down from his imaginary land, he snatched another glass of Engex, raising it a little to indicate his intention of chasing the bot away from his "territory". Although, he was not aware of one important fact - no matter what the size difference was, overestimating yourself in this field was the worst mistake one could make. And Skyshade made that foolish choice of thinking that he had the upper hand in this situation.

Sitting in quarantine before, Nickel had decided that jumping ship the first chance she could slip away was probably the best way to stay alive in the long run. This was not being disproven at this point. Primus, was everyone on this ship completely unstable?!

The only problem was, currently, she couldn't make a run for it without security catching her right away. And then it was probably the brig (or whatever counted as the brig on this ship). While she didn't expect it to be a lethal outcome, the idea was still unpleasant; Nickel had her own ends and--right now--there was an angry drunk in between her and them.

Standing still, and hoping she'd been mistaken for that other mini she'd seen wandering around, Nickel tried to take stock of the situation.

This was, very much, an angry drunk. He was swaying--and armed, she noticed, as he raised another glass (it wouldn't do any lasting damage, but it'd still hurt)--but tense. The unfortunate fact of the matter was that if he threw, she had two directions to run: toward him (and toward more cover) or away, and out into the open. Neither option sounded particularly fun right now.

"Don't. You. Dare," Nickel mouthed, remaining as still as circumstances currently allowed.

She didn't have the patience currently to diffuse things, and it wasn't like she knew one unhinged Autobot from another on this damned ship, anyway.

As if two equally stubborn armies met, both unwilling to back down. On one side we had a disgruntled, definitely not stable leader of the army; the other had a bunch of other things to worry about other than the ongoing conflict.

The tension grew each second that passed, sending one party down the impatient path. While Skyshade always waited for others to strike, as he was much better in countet-attacks, the influence of Engex not only made him emotional and vicious, but also overconfident, thinking he would be able to chase away this puny little bot from his "territory".

It was more of a coincidence and luck than him actually being able to perfectly coordinate his next movements - he hopped down from the table, stumbled a little, but still managed to save his honor by somehow finding that progressively vanishing balance.

One thing was obvious to him - she stood her ground, not listening to his non-verbal words of "go away". Radical steps had to be taken. He inched closer - maybe if he started to cut the distance, she would try to look for some release of pressure - thus promptly backing away from Skyshade's borders.

Nickel, well what a bad day you were having. He took her sentence as a challenge - lifting his leg for a short moment - he sneered. "But I will," to emphasize it, the foot came stomping down against the metal floor, creating a thunderous THUNK, then his claws made a high-pitched screech as he dragged them over the floor, enough to send shivers down the spine. Now he stood there, waiting on her, anticipating her next move.

How none of these aftshafts had killed eachother by this point, Nickel had no idea. She didn't have an idea of the personal bubble she'd managed to violate either. But, then again, she also didn't really have a choice if she didn't want security noticing her.

Though the sound of claws set her teeth on edge, she didn't back up--couldn't, really. She was already up against a table leg. Still...

Nickel watched him closely, measuring the distance. If she timed it right, she might be able to duck under him. Maybe. Or she'd end up with a lot less metal. But--well.

"Back off, buddy," Nickel retorted through clenched teeth. "I don't need you attracting security here."

Great timing and using Skyshade's lack of proper balance in one's advantage was the key to success.

The taller bot couldn't keep up playing the waiting game - irritated more and more with his very own personal zone being infiltrated and Nickel refusing to move away, there was only one last thing to do. Using the most powerful force, hopefully enough threatening to force the minibot to run away. For him, it was a perfect vision, although, he completely neglected his great disadvantage, which was his non-present coordination of harsh body movements.

First of all, he should have prepared to lose some dignity. Hopefully the people on the ship were enough intimidated by him even while Skyshade was sober - it was him who possesed the role of "Eyes And Ears of The Ship".

Lunging forwards at Nickel, he begun to cut their already short distance. In his mind, he was thinking his taller size would grant him a victory in this dispute.

Oh, how foolish of him.

Not like he knew who she was (or visa versa--Nickel had been out of the vents and in proper custody for all of half a day now, really)--and not like he knew she was used to shouting at bots with hands as big as she was. This, while annoying, wasn't overly worrying in and of itself. Well--Skyshade wasn't overly worrying in and of himself.

Nickel forced herself to stay still for as long as necessary (she wasn't particularly fond of being cornered either), then darted between his arms, past his legs, and braked as she pressed herself up against the table he'd only recently vacated. That'd probably make him angrier, but she was trying to avoid obvious sightlines; it was the table or bust. Possibly making a fool of someone over twice her height was probably just a bonus.

"Primus--maybe I should just get security here myself! Slag's wrong with you?! Overgrown scraplet!"

He crashed into the nearest empty table at quite a high speed (thanks to his failure to calculate an optimal force to lunge himself forward due to his state), creating another loud mixture of various THUNK - or THUD? - sounds of metal hitting metal. The crowd around them cleared space for him moderately, as if not wanting to become Skyshade's next target of the unneccessary violence.

He got back on his feet - after nearly slipping at least twice - and if not for his visor, his optics would be capable of burning a hole in Nickel. No, no, wait, not just one hole, but multiple ones. Speaking of the visor, the impact had cracked it a bit, but he was unaware of this cosmetic issue.

Skyshade's optics locked dead on the target, he clenched his fists, he was becoming furious with his vain attempts to chase her away from his table - but there she was, hiding underneath the table he had literally claimed for himself ever since hitting the Swerve's for the first time. Persistant and downright stubborn, Skyshade was losing it. He was losing his patience with the nuisance; he felt like being mocked by her presence and ability to avoid his not so perfectly planned attacks.

Before he had any chance to actually do something, his audial receptor picked something, which diverted his attention immediately. He straightened himself up, his receptors raised high as if he was some kind of deer and he listened closely. For a moment, he actually looked like he sobered up, a little bit. Either way, he must have heard something, in that rich crowd that was the bar. The sound soon revealed itself as the security trying to elbow themselves through the swarm of bots - they were heading to the source of the core racket.

But hey, at least there's the proof why Skyshade was often refered to as 'Eyes and Ears of the Ship' - he could detect the faintest sounds, no matter where; and no matter how sane he was.

And maybe the incoming security literally saved Nickel's aft from the conflict, as Skyshade was more of less, trying to hide somewhere while acting sober. Emphasis on 'trying'.

It took Nickel a moment or two of scanning the crowd before she figured out what had distracted her new friend. Being at ground level had its disadvantages, after all. And it wasn't long before she went about doing much the same--only working on making a beeline for one of the doors and trying to keep under the tables and chairs for the time being.

Little did she know, moving away like that probably could have saved the both of them some drama. And maybe a trip to the brig.

At this point, he completely forgot about the previous problem he had been dealing with the entire time being. By that time, the onlookers went on their ways, seeing that there would be no conflict - expect for the security trouble.

Not finding any proper hiding spot, he kind of... Stood there. Until the security arrived and kicked him out of the bar; that didn't happen without a little hassle tho.

((STUPID ENTER PUBLISHING MY SOONER... also i guess that's the end?))

((OOC: I suppose so? If you want these two to run into eachother again, just give me a poke, btw. Though Nickel's probably going to end up in the brig because she's out of bounds, so to speak))
