Visages was quite different from Swerve's bar as far atmospheres went. Classier, calmer, truly a place that Pharma would seat himself and talk badly of others as he swirled a glass of wine worth more than First Aid's monthly paycheck. That alone made First Aid feel on edge as he entered, bundles in his arms.

His brothers had volunteered to help Mirage back on his feet, get the bar straightened out. None asked for pay, and First Aid wished to lend a hand too, but he was CMO now and couldn't just skip out on responsibilities. So he did the next best thing and hunkered down and made five loaves of banana bread to give each mech. One for each brother as a thank you for the hard work, and one for mirage as a house warming gift. House warming, bar warming, get better soon, whatever he wanted to interpret it as. There was, however, some mild rooted anxiety over if his baked goods were up to standards. Heartbreaking if he did catch mirage simply chuck it out, Aid didn't want him feeling uncomfortable either. Hopefully it would be disposed of after First Aid cleared the room.

Tiredly he opened the door, spark pulsing hard and heavy with anticipation. Once the door did open he was met with an empty bar, dimly lit, each of his brothers working around. It was quick to approach each and get his long overdue bear hug and helm smooch before passing along their loaves. Which after blades tossed the tiny medic up into the aid and placed him back on to his pedes, Aid made his way to mirage at the bar counter, staggering slightly.

"Oh, ah, m-mirage, this is for you." Gently aid placed the bundled loaf of bread onto the counter before sitting himself on one of the tall bar stools. His pedes dangled, reminding him how much of a sparkling he still was. Compressing a huff, hot spot couldn't help but laugh as he picked up up through the bond. Flinching at the noise, aid had forgotten how close and connected they all were. "I'm so glad you're back on the ship, buddy."

Finally, some progress was being made with the restoration. There was still a long ways to go until Visages was up to its previous standards, but for a single day of work it was polishing up nicely. Aid's arrival served as a good time to call it quits. Mirage idled by the bar for a moment, his optics focusing on nothing in particular.

His attention shifted back to Aid when he set a loaf down on the counter. He turned to Aid with a huff, about to direct Aid to the proper trash receptacle, that was until he noticed the other Protectobots tucking away their own loaves into subspaces and such. Hotspot narrowed him with pointed optics, Mirage swallowed whatever he'd been prepared to say.

"Thank you." Mirage smiled, he didn't particularly enjoy organic delicacies but he could appreciate the kindness behind the gesture. Seeing Aid now, he could admit he'd missed him. Seeing how much livelier the rest of the Protectobots were here with First Aid was all he needed to know he wasn't the only one. The trip back had been quieter, lonely almost.

He pressed an errant servo to the glass countertop of the bar to hold his weight for a moment, grimacing at the smudge that was sure to leave. His processor felt light in an uncomfortable way, swimming. It was tiring, and so was the hard task of cleaning his bar. Looking around though, he could see the other Protectobots were just as tired as he was.

"A drink, perhaps?" He offered to Aid, drumming a servo against his hip. The new little habits, the tapping and the nervous energy. Those were new, with an unfamiliarity that wasn't his own.

First Aid was very much distracted with the buzz of his gestalt all in one room after so long. Rocking on his pedes, he kept sneaking glances over at them as he tried to focus on Mirage. It was hard. It was hard to have been apart from his gestalt for so long only to finally have them within reach. Still. He'd have to be professional. Mirage was his friend, but Mirage was also similar to Pharma. Very upscale, fancy, formal. Emphasis on formal. The last thing he wanted was for his friend to think less of him. Certainly he would think Aid was childish if he tried to get his brothers to all group hug him.

Even if the contact did sound nice. Spark thudding against its chamber, Aid turned to focus back on mirage.

Which. The tapping was new. Unsure to bring it up or not, Aid decided to keep careful optic on him. No need to cause a fuss over their first meeting back since their trip to cybertron. Not that First Aid really wanted to make that trip to begin with.

"Sure, surprise me with a drink." The impulse to add 'something cheap, something I can afford!' Was lost on his glossa. He was already starting to grow worried of Mirage's behavior, but he could still just be a little lagged from the trip. No big deal, it that was the case. Still. He'd poke a bit. "How have you been feeling? You know I worry about you, right?"
