Nickel questioned him, reasonably. With no validation to check if Skyshade's statement was correct, scepticim often pulled the strings - unless showcased with a proof. And that proof existed - located on his back. "Technically, I can be at two places at the same time." He changed his position to sit with his legs crossed, straightening his back slightly as if intending to deploy his Minicon - but that was soon scratched, and he tried to cover his true intention by sighing. He already told way too much to Nickel. They both shared mutual distrust to each other, didn't they? Not to mention their whacky introduction... "And yes - experience. If you didn't want to go to Habsuites and continued forward, you would get to Swerve's - but before then, there are other intersection which lead to other parts of the ship... And never venture to the 'A3' vent." A detailed synopsis of his airshaft adventure would be like reading the Lord Of The Rings, Hobbit, and Harry Potter books in one go, without breaks - and you seriously did not want to sit through that. |

So much panic, so little time!
|
Nickel...stared at him for a bit. Then she stared for a little longer. And then again for another moment or two. She was used to the reaction being connected to the DJD usually brought. That was to say--people trying their best to ignore her, or otherwise giving her the side-eye (and the usual 'how can you justify those monsters' lecture). This was none of the above and she didn't know with it. It showed. "...why are you telling me this?" |

"You look like you need it." That was it. A short answer, nothing more to add to it. Why would he even bother unraveling his thoughts into lengthy paragraphs, when he could jump to the simple conclusion. With him having nothing to say, he got up on his feet stretching, fully ready to leave Oil Reservoir for today, seeing he had been unable to focus on his work "Last chance to ask something." |

Nickel was still standing there, confused--and really not sure what to do with Skyshade at all. "Haven't got anything to ask," she countered, arms still crossed stubbornly. "Got too many other things to worry about right now." ((Ooc: Hnnngg short response. Sorry about that)) |

((ooc - dw! also I hope it's alright to spice up the rp abit? B) )) "You should. The security is just around the corner." In one swift motion, with one plain jump, the walls of the Oil Reservoir would once again be marked by his sharp digits that helped him climb on a relatively smooth surface; thank the designer for the panels having little gaps. He was making his way to the vent located several metres above the ground, but he stopped in the middle, twisting his head back on Nickel. "Just so you know - the guard shift had changed, they have figured out someone let the doors open, and they know the number of the Decepticon... Guests might have dropped down by more than one. Well maybe. I recommend you disappear. 57 seconds and they'll be knocking. I think. Depends on who has the shift. Remember not to go to A3, as always." Once he reached the vent and entered it, he couldn't help himself but to turn around, poking his head just slightly to watch Nickel, curious to see if she manages to escape or not. Either way - he had a show. Maybe he should have brought some Energon treats for it. But there he was, his helm sticking out of the hole in the wall. |

((Ooc: Be my guest. I basically haven't been very exciting lately because personal reasons. Akhaklsjhdla)) It was hard to tell if that scowl was just because, well, there was a scowl permanently affixed to her face. There was a lot of math (so to speak) going on inside that little head. Whether or not trusting the unstable drunk was better than facing down security (for the second time), or if she should be hurrying back before the last door closed. Nickel had a lot of weight on her shoulders lately, and even more on her mind. She didn't need another adventure. But she also didn't need a few days in the brig with a bunch of angry Autobots. She already had an angry Autobot to deal with right in front of her. "Fine, fine." Nimble for her size and build, it only took Nickel a moment or two to hop up next to him. "Out of the way, pointy." |

He was ready for a show. He was ready for Nickel running to the nearest, empty vent that would lead her to the other parts of ship. Unexpectedly, she had chosen his vent, which would not be so bothersome if the surrounding space wasn't so narrow-spaced. Yes, Skyshade could still turn around freely without having to worry about being stuck and move smoothly. But now? His entire being felt threatened - claustrophobic surrounding and Nickel forcing herself in did not create the best combination. He significantly backed down, ramming with his back into a wall of a 'T' shaped corridor, just to keep his personal bubble intact. Oh, no way he was going to let her approach him seeing how disadvantaged he was in this confined space; nor he was going to let her follow him. "You could have gone to one of those two or three unoccupied airshafts, and yet you show up here? That's illogical." He whispered, knowing that the security theoretically could have already entered the Oil Reservoir and any suspicious sound would make them stay here longer to find its source. |

She seemed to have the same idea--particularly since there was a special scowl saved just for him at that! Nickel had to judge whether or not it was safe to talk. In what was basically an elongated echo chamber. With lots of places where bots could listen in if they wanted (security included). "This one was closest. Not my fault you picked that one, too. Now scoot over, you're in the way." She wanted to try and run parallel to where she was supposed to be...just in case. Then she could at least pretend she was wandering during the checkin. |

Fine. Fine. He had enough of the stubborn game, of the two equally persistant bots who had no intention to nicely back down; but now, Skyshade was getting sick of it. And hey, maybe backing the hell down to give Nickel space would finally make their relations a little less tense as it was now. "Whatever you say, Commander." He grumbled, the "Commander" enhanced with 10% of sarcasm. Choosing to go on his left, which was a long way to reach his Habsuite, but maybe he could find some quiet place in the airshafts to relax, right? At least he hoped Nickel didn't intend to follow him. |

"If I was a commander, I wouldn't be in this situation to begin with," Nickel muttered to herself. That familiar tension-induced ache beginning to build behind the middle of her forehead. "And could you not?!" She gestured in frustrations--more at him that at the ether. In order to run parallel to the Decepticon 'green zone,' she had to go left. "Is there some sort of programming blip that constantly keeps you underfoot? You're taller than me--how can you keep getting underfoot?!" She was also trying to yell as best she could under the circumstances. Which meant it was more of a very angry whisper. |

This was probably his last straw. And just out of spite, out of his entire patience running out; hell these two were not clicking together. They did not match, they could not agree to choose two seperate paths not to end up being together longer than any of them wanted, they only bickered. He made an abrupt stop, surprisingly turned around without scrapping his shoulders against the walls of the vents and sat down. He sat down, blocking Nickel's way to get back to her destined zone. "You should ask the same question to yourself, buddy," he couldn't help it, he couldn't force himself to stop his own face from producing a shit eating grin cross-breeded with a forced smile which you had to use when you were talking someone who you wanted to strangle. Now he was in such a great position to kick her into the next week, he was really tempted to lift his leg and do his magic - but he waited. He wanted to know if she had enough guts to do anything when his most powerful weapon of his entire being stood between Nickel and Skyshade. |

Frustrated, Nickel let out a puff of air through her vents--almost literally letting off steam by this point. "Primus! I should have just let security find me!" Nickel rubbed at her face. "Look. I need to go that way. That way runs parallel to where I need to go. Either you go on ahead or let me go first. But I need. To. Go. That. Way." |

"Okay," he threw his arms in the air, tapping the ceiling of the vents, "just promise me one damn thing," he dropped his arms down, leaning closer to Nickel with his index finger raised in almost scolding manner, "you. Will. Be. Quiet." Sending her one last death glare from behind his visor, he turned around, finally not functioning as a road- or well, ventblock preventing Nickel from continuing forward to return to her destination. Several times, he did look back - just paying Nickel a glance to see how far she was or if she had turned around somewhere at the intersection. What was the saying? Oh right. He wanted to get her off his aft as soon as possible. |

Nickel groaned, fighting the urge to slap his finger away. She knew a scold when it was given--she spent...well, had spent a goodly portion of time being on the other end of that. "Fine," she mostly mumbled, then continued on her way. Unfortunately for Skyshade, though, she still had a couple of intersections before she could get off where she was supposed to be. When Skyshade turned back, Nickel gestured--still frustrated--at him. |

Nickel was not the only one who was frustrated with this situation of those two still being stuck together. Once again, Skyshade found himself sitting down once again, blocking Nickel's path thanks to him actually doubting if HE was on the correct path. He summoned his datapad out from his subspace, blue screen illuminating his face; he tapped several commands, searching for his personal map of the vents located within the Lost Light. On his map, he was only few dozens of metres away from his Habsuite, but that still meant Nickel was going to follow him - and he was having none of that. Nearly shoving his datapad in her face, he pointed at the intersections which they had passed. "You could have chosen at least two of these intersections to get back to your zone. If you had chosen any of those it would have only taken you a little longer to get back, but yet, you are still lurking behind me!" |
