A cryptic message of GPS coordinates and "Riley! Hurry!" from Lace sent the group to an abandoned mansion outside of the city. It seemed empty at first, but inspection revealed traces of an unusual amount of people moving in and out of a significantly reinforced pantry.

Not too happy with more people travelling in and out of his domain, a ghost named Reginald attempted to scare the party away by knocking over a bookshelf in the library. He was unable to move on due to that actions of a 'Mother', who was not a scientist, but was downstairs with the scientists. They had rigged his grandfather clock with some way to open a secret door.

Armed with the solution, the party opened the door and went downstairs to a clean office area surprisingly empty. Papers had been scattered on the floor and some computers had been left unlocked. The security booth's computer flashed "LOCKDOWN", but it was an easy feat for the hacker to release, copying files as she went. Other rooms on the floor had various equipment for mixing and preparing chemicals, as well as refrigerators with blood vials, some of which tasted distinctly not human.

Downstairs had sterile testing chambers of a sort, clean rooms with observation windows. One of which held the dead body of a scientist. She held a vial of a strange, silvery liquid and a clipboard detailing the most recent 'subject', an albino person.

Said person was a short ways further down the hall, securely locked inside a security booth while searching through the computer for more information. Blood covered their fingers, splattered across their jumpsuit, and streaked down their hair. They were a bit perplexed by the arrival of the party, and while suspicious at first, they were willing to part with answers after the party mentioned Lace...Riley's child.

Riley was on a mission to destroy the facility, but it went deeper than they originally thought. Lace had tried to warn Riley. However they had a job to do. No matter the danger, this place had to be destroyed.

Despite the party's efforts, Riley crawled off into the air vents as an albino monitor lizard.

Another secret staircase led to a deeper facility, where research was going into forced transformations. The walls were more bare rock, but an odd part of the cieling stood out as it pulastated. It was a weird lump of human that seemed to be fused with the wall.

A security guard patrolled the hall, a human who had been shaped with bones and growths. Not too bright, he led the a party thru the lab part to the personal chambers of whatever lived downstairs.

A throne room greeted the party, complete with a throne made of living humans. A set of bedrooms revealed intimate details of the residents. A couple, at least, enjoyed caring for their garden, sharing a diary and key between them.

The garden was down the opposite hall, which the security guard knocked on and waited at. Inside, was a greenhouse of sorts, complete with plants of all shape, size, and skin color. Some even had fur and feathers. Thick vines blocked the way outside the greenhouse, watching the party carefully.

Twins huddled over a potted mushroom, trying to figure out why it was sick. They disdainfully revealed that Mother was with Luke. Luke wasn't any fun and was always angry. They took the party past the vines to Luke's room.

A curse and thud came from the door to Luke's room. The party open the door just in time to see Riley slumped to the ground. An alien monstrosity stood in the middle of brains in jars. Random bits of words and data scrolled across a console screen by the door.

Mother was willing to amuse the party's curiosities, but they had seen too much. Luke locked all but Fynn in the room.

Fynn talked the Twins, Dalia and Claude, into helping him as the rest of the party fought a bat horror that was difficult to hit but wasn't hitting too hard. Miles unearthed the deeply hidden fear of Final Death all vampires have when he set himself on fire. Mother tried to get away but fell to flame, claw, and sword.
