According to SOD, Wally Kurth (Sam) is out in two weeks.

Cady McClain (Ro) is out next week.

I *hated* Sam. I have never seen WK before but everyone was saying how great he was. I'm sorry I didn't see it at all. I'm glad he's gone.

He's actually a really good actor. The show just used him horribly. Honestly, the story was changed and cut short because of the strike.

I can second this, great actor in a bad role that I think they took in a bad turn to end it as quickly as possible, due to behind the scenes circumstances. Just my guess, though.

I agree. The original plan was for Sam and Carly to have a viable romance and for him to be a true rival. But the strike changed all that. I think the new writers weren't all that interested in the story. That's why it's ending so quickly.
