Vienna tries to play cupid for Katie and Brad. Barbara is overcome with joy when she holds her granddaughter for the first time. Lucinda heads off to a mysterious meeting. Despite Parker's extreme reservations about the new man in his mom's life, Carly and Sam appear headed for a kiss on Wednesday, January 30...Tragic lovers Emily and Paul strike a deal on Thursday, January 31....Sofie goes too far to get what she wants on Friday, February 1. This isn't much, but here's what SOD has on Scott Bryce's firing... "ATWT's Scott Bryce, who returned to the role he originated last April (25 years after he was first hired) has been let go. 'I love and respect the cast and crew of ATWT and hope the WORLD continues to turn for years to come,' he said in a statement. 'Like everybody, I'm very surprised. He is a great actor,' sighs Marie Wilson. 'But I'm just there to do my job!' 'I hung out with him a good deal, even though we didn't work together,' says Terri Colombino. 'I really love him, I'm sad to see him go and also that we never got a chance to have scenes together.' ATWT had no comment other than to say that the impact of his departure would be felt 'long after he is gone.' A source notes that the exit, unlike so many in soaps lately, was NOT about money. Bryce was still taping at press time and no last air date has been released." |

I'm still very upset about Scott Bryce being fired, or "let go", or whatever they want to call it. He's such a great actor, and while the character may have some major flaws, I could always find myself hating Craig, and feeling sorry for him, at the same time. That's the kind of actor Scott was. Back to spoilers: Hasn't Vienna been playing cupid for months now? |

Maybe she's going to accidentally shoot Brad in the ass with an arrow. |

I think SB being fired is a shame. He was a great actor and Craig is a legacy character. I know it's all to prop Paul and Meg, but there's so much more for Craig to do in Oakdale than that. I'm just baffled by this decision. I like some of the changes that CG has made/is making.... but this isn't one of them. Because if it's not about money, then they felt Craig had no future left in Oakdale.... at least for now. And that makes no sense to me. Every show needs a villian and Craig was a perfect one. |
