I just wrote a fic about this...they could have at least had the boys mention it in passing or something if they didn't want them at the funeral. It just seemed like once TPTB realized Grayson McCouch was on his way out, they just wanted to distance Dusty and Noah as much as possible. Anyway, if it wasn't for Dusty intervening (at Lily's request, of course), Noah would have been long gone and Nuke would have been over just as fast as it started. So I vote yes.

I voted Yes.. if Dusty did not come to Noah to have him go to Luke there would be no Luke/Noah. If they didn't went to do that they need to do something one screen that Noah and dusty had a fall out or something. |

Would have been good to see Noah stand up and speak a little at Dusty's funeral, and say how Dusty was responsible for Noah staying in Oakdale and starting to understand he can carve a nice life for himself if he tried. I think Dusty taught this lesson to Noah and Noah should have been there to speak at his funeral to say that. It would have made a nice little step for Noah's character, I think ... |

I LOVE your fic about this. It was really well done. And if it played out like your fic then I say yes. |

I think he should have... because if it weren't for Dusty, Noah wouldn't have the life he has now. He wouldn't be with the guy he loves, he wouldn't have a surrogate family, he wouldn't have any of that. He would be god knows where, alone and probably sniffing after some chick. Now he's happier than he ever has been and he owes that to Dusty. I think the show should have gave that some attention. It would have been much screentime. |

I think the show took a very cheap route when they realized that their original plan to have Dusty as a part of Noah's life wasn't going to pan out. Fans aren't stupid. We have memories and regardless of the actor's exit, the writer's should've honored the *supposed* bond between them. Noah didn't have to have a fainting moment but he could've grieved. |
