Of course Luke should support Noah. What I meant was, I don't want Luke to be a supporting character in a Noah storyline; that is, I don't want the story to focus on Noah and have Luke as simply a background character, like he is right now in Lily and Holden's story.
that the way i want it.. both supporting each other.. both are equal to each other.. i just don't want Noah to be arm candy to Luke or Luke being arm candy to Noah. right now Noah seems like the arm candy.. he needs to get out of that box.
Hopefully, Noah stays away from boxes altogether. :ph43r: :ph43r:

Here's my take on it,
I like it when characters have scenes and interact with a lot of other characters - that goes for Luke, Noah, everyone - it's more realistic than, say, knowing myself that Luke knows all these other people but never sees them. But - I like it to make sense that person A and person B are talking. For example, they did a good job this week of having Allison run into Casey at the Munson's, that got them re-acquainted (with Will and Gwen in common to facilitate that) and now it will make sense for them to have a scene alone together.
The problem is, the pre-scab writers never did this kind of stuff at all. But - we've seen some of the characters on the show for so long, and we know they know eachother from years ago, etc., that if they suddenly had a scene together I would buy it. But as far as newer character Noah, for example, the previous writers didn't even bother to have him know anyone. He is isolated because I didn't get to see him get to really get to know anyone else through someone he does know. I would like a Noah/Lucinda scene better if I had gotten to see them get acquainted on my screen through, say their common loved one Luke, but I got robbed of that. And with Noah, the previous writers robbed me of that between Noah and pretty much everyojne. They missed like a half dozen golden opportunities with Noah on New Year's Eve alone. So....for now, as an example, I'd like to see them have that scene with Luke together and then I'd like them better later, standing on their own in a scene with no one else. It's realistic that way, you wouldn't just go up to someone you knew OF but didn't really know and just talk to them or whatever.
I think the show and these outstanding scab writers are slowly moving towards that where Noah is concerned, I can see Noah starting to connect with more of his "outer canvas" by having scenes with new people in conjuncion with his "inner canvas." Does that make any sense? Hope so, because I'm outta here for a few hours, and won't be here to explain any of this confusing mess I'm trying to pass along as a post.

Your post made the most sense to me than any others mine included. I actually agree with you even though my post were all over the place today.

Thanks for the kind words ! Just re-read what I wrote, and I actually managed to confuse myself with the phrase - "I didn't get to really get to see him get to know anyone else." I read my own words, and I was like, huh?

Hey, I do that ALL the time. I confuse myself many times. I know what I mean in my head but I can't write it out properly.
I think you summed it up perfectly though.

I know what you mean, darn those brain cells for picking just the wrong moment to wither away. Happens to me a lot too.
Just two days ago, I was late for work, and started out to the car with no socks on. I was so late I had to grab some and stick 'em in the car and put 'em on after I got to work.

Well, atleast it was just your socks. This is really embarrassing but I was trying to sneak out the the house and not wake my baby before going to the gym at 5 in morning. Well, let's just say I was glad my neighbors weren't up or they would have gotten a pretty good look at me from the waist down.
Very embarrassing.

I wonder though..... if Lucinda and Noah have had a formal meeting, because Luke said something about 'you didn't call me here to meet my boyfriend'. That made me wonder if she's never actually met him.... and that the first time she laid eyes on him was last week in Old Towne and that was neither the place or the time for a formal meeting. Because Lucinda made the comment that 'he seems nice' or whatever. I got the sense she's never actually met him.

I'm glad that they playing it that way.. this way we can hope for a Noah and Lucinda scene.. before trouble comes..

Suddenly I feel a little better about what I did. And this is for your big "moment" because I haven't used this one yet.
