I gave this episode a B. It was a fantastic episode, but like all the episodes for the past few months, Luke and Noah's story was totally self-contained, by which I mean a problem arose and was resolved in one day. I'm looking forward to an actual storyline soon! |

Ok, I'm only 2 days late (been very busy here!), but I would rate the episode an A. So much was discussed between these two, much more then I would've ever expected!! We got sex talk, an ILY from Luke, and a kiss on the cheek from Noah. Plus, lets not forget we met another gay couple! Heck, I'm still watching the Monday scenes over and over again.
Now, I do agree with Violette about the show's story being resolved in one day, but.....since we are rating just THAT show, I'm giving it an A. |

I gave it an A because it was just so fantastic in so many ways, most notably how HOT it was. The boys turned up the heat.... and it's been awhile since we've seen that kind of sparks flying between them. But, we saw some sweet romance and the show never let's us doubt how much they love each other. And as someone else noted, these guys really look out for each other. They're soooo supportive of the other and always seem to be doing things for one another, both big and small. Those things are what make their relationship just so wonderful. Violette, I understand what you're saying that the episode was self-contained, but it is a story in a sense in that they are building somewhere and there is an overall arc to where the story is going. I see this and the next couple of weeks as a transition from Chapter One of Luke and Noah's story to Chapter Two. |

Oh, I loved the episode, really! And if I were grading the characters themselves, they both get an A, as do the writers. But it just wasn't a significant enough episode to me, I guess--I mean, it's almost like the false start of a plot that didn't get off the ground. It takes a lot for an episode to get an A from me, I guess! |

I'll give it a B. I would give it an A but I really hated how I felt like I was watching an After school special with the "Just say NO to drugs". I remember the Nancy Regan campaign oh to well. ugh! |

It's funny, but I think Luke was joking or being sarcastic, mocking the Nancy Reagan mantra. Van's delivery made me feel that way. That's why I didn't feel like I was being preached to. |

I didn't feel like I was being preached to either, but I almost felt like the show was making Luke and Noah almost too good, if that makes any sense. I've never really agreed with everyone when they talk about "Saint Luke" and "Saint Noah" but on Monday I kind of saw where they were coming from. However, it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the episode. |

True, but still. The relationship of the boys were fine but I did find it odd that Noah didn't know Luke was on the committee. Noah seemed like he didn't even know what was going on. and it just seems like Luke would have mentioned it . I dunno. It was just a little off to me. |

But, Luke and Noah are written as saints, especially Luke. Even Van comments on how saintly Luke is written. It comes with being one of the few gay characters on tv. It doesn't bother me though, I love the boys just the way they are. I knew there was no way they would've gone to that party, even without the deal about the drugs and casual sex. Luke would've found a way not to go. There's no way he'd leave town for a weekend sex romp with his boyfriend with Holden facing a murder rap. Other characters would've been able to forget about it long enough to do what they wanted. But not Luke. That's just how he rolls. |
