Doing all the heavy lifting.....
|
http://soapoperadigest.com/recaps/atwt/2008/020408/ Luke and Noah flirted at Java, equating Noah's lusty appetite for food with a hunger for all the sex they're not having. They stared across the table at each other in a very hot but chaste way. They then went over their "fantasy first time," nixing rose petals and bearskin rugs. How about a sweaty locker room after a game of handball? (LOL, Luke!) Noah accused Luke of watching too much porn. "At my grandmother's house?!" Luke boggled. (He must not know cousin Brad gets adult magazines sent there.) Forget porn, Noah couldn't see him and Luke in any romantic Hollywood scenarios either. "I want us to be unique," he sighed. But what did that mean? What kind of relationship do they want? Luke leaned in, looking like he wanted one full of kissing. No, of course they didn't kiss. Instead, Luke went and got a big meaty sandwich. "Now look who's sublimating!" Noah cracked. The duo quit joking as they realized they want a family and are creating that at the farm. (But Noah finished Luke's sandwich for him...so take that metaphor where you will....) Meg stormed into Craig's room at the Lakeview to tell him he's no longer CEO of Montgomery Enterprises. Downstairs, Emily and Paul sighed that their team-up hadn't had a fairy tale ending. Craig begged Meg not to let Lucinda win. She bitterly accused him of trying to kill Dusty and Bob to get his research project off the ground. "Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?" he countered, realizing she'd started listening to Paul. In the lounge, Paul and Emily analyzed the whole Meg-Craig-Paul triangle. Craig implored Meg to reconsider but she stood firm. Paul called Meg with news that Holden had been cleared, so she ran out of her confab with Craig. Paul passed on what Emily had learned from The Intruder office: There's a hostage standoff at Memorial! They rushed over to the hospital, finding Emily, who let them know Evan killed Dusty. Bitter Chris walked by and confirmed the news. Meg beamed with relief as she saw Holden and Lily and she and Paul shared an awkward hug. As good as it felt, Meg still couldn't be with him. "Well, well, looks like we both lost the girl," Craig crowed. When Paul noted Craig lost M.E., too, Craig warned, "It's not over. Not even close." Later, Paul and Emily stared at each other very, very cryptically. At Memorial, Holden and Margo tried to figure out who was holding Lily and Lucinda hostage. That would be Evan, who had a syringe to Lily's throat and was calling Lucinda "Mrs. Walsh" despite being related to her. Psycho Evan confessed to hurting Bob and offing Dusty and Lucinda tried to calm him down. From the hall, Holden shouted that they had Evan's money for him, and Lucinda hollered back their mystery captor's identity. Margo didn't want to meet Evan's demands — negotiating was a no-no. Chris was horrified to realize his partner is a psycho. Margo asked him to try and reach Evan. (Forget not negotiating!) Erratic Evan opened the door to Chris, and Martha Byrne and Elizabeth Hubbard chilled for five minutes as the newbies traded barbs. Outside, Holden got antsy. Evan booted Chris out and the moment gave Lily a chance to grab a scalpel. Holden called for a WOAK chopper to come to the roof and Lucinda pretended to call for her jet. Lily tried to jump Evan and failed. The poor man's hostage drama continued to play out as Evan herded Lucinda and Lily to the roof. Evan and Lily struggled for the syringe and she stuck him with it. Holden hugged Lily as Chris pronounced Evan dead. Lily blasted Lucinda for bringing such an ambitious weasel to town: "You brought him here and look what happened!" Lily and Holden came home to the farm as Margo questioned Chris and Craig about Evan. "I can't imagine my life without you," Holden told Lily, who felt the same way. Back on the roof, Chris rebuffed Emily and Craig appeared to tell Lucinda that her company wouldn't be hers for long. At home, Holden and Lily hugged again and the girls rushed in to check on them. |
