Doing all the heavy lifting.....
|
What a GOOD show today! This show is getting better and better every day. I'm loving the Jack/Carly storyline, mostly because it's different than the usual quad or Carly lying (or both). The acting is very good (though it's obvious how this is going to wrap up). Maura West is great as the mother desperate to save her son. I also like how they reminded us today that Hal is Parker's father. I hated how they changed Parker's last name to Snyder. Totally disrespectful to Hal, IMO. The Casey stuff is interesting, it looks like Matt is going to create some serious problems. However, I find it hard to believe Casey was no suspected when the money came up missing. Wouldn't the fired bartender say that he left ex-con Casey alone for awhile? Furthermore, didn't the bartender notice the drawer was EMPTY after Casey had gone? Casey and Ali? Not feeling the chemistry. And Ali needs to cut Casey a break. It's none of her business what he does or when. Okay, so Sofie's going for her kid..... but why should she have to? It's been less than 90 days, can't she just take her? Chris is nice now.... still don't like him. Aaron looked really good today. |

I haven't watched yet but it sounds good. I loved how you summed up Aaron by just looking good. It seems like that's all he's there for is eye-candy. I wish he had a storyline.

I really enjoyed the Carly/Jack/Parker stuff today. And ITA Anthony about changing Parker's name from Munson to Snyder. I wish they hadn't done that. Couldn't Jack have adopted Parker without changing his last name? Allison was really hard on Casey. Give the guy a break he just got out of prison. Casey BTW, I just don't care for this actor. I don't think he's a bad actor, he's just not Zach. Don't get me wrong, Zach wasn't the best actor, but he will always be Casey to me. I have very little to say about Sophie. The sooner she leaves town the better IMO. Aaron doesn't need to waste his time with her. And Chris, he's the Interin Chief, doesn't he have anything better to do then deal with Sophie? Now I used to love Will & Gwen, but they're boring, no matter who writes for them. You can tell they're ready to go. |

*shrug* I can't really think of anything else to say about Aaron. When he's in a scene with Sofie, all I can do to remain interested is to focus on him and how cute he is. Otherwise, I'd change the channel or go clean something during those scenes. |

I always remember that scene when Parker asked Will if it were okay if he changed his last name to Snyder and Will gave his blessing. If I were Will I would've been offended and wondered if Parker forgot his father and the man who raised him much of his life, especially while Carly was off doing this or that. Totally inappropriate. I know why it was done.... as to not to confuse stupid viewers, but it was wrong. I'm glad the show, or these new writers, haven't forgotten Hal. Hal was one of my favorites, right up there with Holden so you can imagine why I think Parker changing his last name is wrong. It would be as if Luke decided to change his last name to Grimaldi.
Ali? Butt out please. That's all I have to say about that. I was not a fan of Zach R. and this Casey is just OK. Maybe he needs more seasoning. Still though, I'm interested in his story, if only to see what this Matt is up to.
This NuChris is a bust. He is simply not working. First he was the jerk, power hungry doctor. Now he's the compassionate doctor. Neither are interesting. Pair he and Sofie, but do it off screen and tell us how they left town a few months from now. No one will miss them Trust me. And yes, Will and Gwen are boring and look bored. They clearly can't wait to leave and I can't wait for them to go. |

Wasn't it just a few years ago that Luke changed his last name to Snyder? We understood Luke's reason for the change, given what his Father did. but I will never understand Parker's reason. Hal was nothing but a great father, so it made no sense? Like you said, maybe it's because there aren't many Munson's left and they didn't want to confuse any new viewers. |

I agree Parker changing his name was a bit much. Especially considering what happened to BH in real life. Adam, Will, Parker and Jennifer and Nikki are Hal's only kids right? |

Luke's last name was changed to Snyder after the Malta adventure for Luke's own protection because they didn't want the people after Damien to make the connection to Luke. I think Luke was about 10 at the time. At least that's how I recall it. He'd always been a Grimaldi before that. |

Who was the girl played by Parker Posey? She was Hal's daughter. Was that Nikki.... or someone else? I'll have to check that out. Jennifer was not Hal's daughter biologically. Her father was Daryl Crawford, though Hal raised her from birth. But, I think that's all of Hal's kids. I thought he had more. |

I like the Parker s/l so far just watched it. when i first started i thought Parker was Jack and Carly son. When i read the story Heros of Oakdale that went i learned that he is Hal and carly's son. right now i wish they didn't do that but i understand that it could confuss the new autation, but with this new wirter it could help out now. JP was the stuped one to wirte that s/l. |

Seems like Parker's character was named Tess, but not related to Hal? Edited to add: Another memory flash - Parker Posey's character was Tess Shelby, maybe Hal's niece??? Tess had a real Southern accent, and Hal was from the rural South. Nikki Munson was, I believe, portrayed by Jordanna Brewster ? |

Yes, that was so stupid. Two weeks for a broken leg? Do they really think we don't notice? Why not just have him injure it badly or a serious sprain? I mean really! I couldn't believe it! |

After finally watching the show. I really loved it. I love this softer Chris. I even love how they are doing his hair now. He's being so sweet to Sophie. She doesn't have anyone and I love that he's looking out for her. Being young and just having had a baby, your emotions are all over the place. I really like Sophie too. Ali got on my last nerve though and I thought Marnie overacted or something. But I was loving Casey , I just wish he had a different storyline. Matt is bugging the heck out of me. I'm glad Casey felt bad about the bartender getting fired. Why he thought that wouldn't happen is beyond me. Kit got on my damn nerves too. ugh! Poor Parker again. I just wanted to hug him See this a great storyline for Carly/Jack. It shows their love for their kids and each other. The acting has been brilliant. |
