Now this is an angsty story. Just WOW! I still feel more for Luke. But I think we are supposed to. Not hate Noah but feel Luke's pain.

One thing I just wanted to through out there. When Holden talked about lawyers, he didn't just mention "lawyers" in general, but specially mentioned Tom Hughes. Probably means nothing, but could be hint (along with yesterday's show) and Casey's and Nuke's story might be related somehow or cross over again. But could be reading too much into things.
Also, today they mentioned "blood relatives" a lot. Makes me think, more foreshadowing of Noah and Ameera will end up siblings.

I knew Noah's ILY probably wouldn't affect me much if it was done like this. Noah Luke's ILY on Christmas. that's how you get it done.

He also probably mentioned Tom because he's the only lawyer they know..... besides Bonnie... and I don't think they'd be calling her for help. That said, it could mean something.... or not. I mean, there are so many times lately I thought something meant something and it meant nothing.

I think this was a milestone for Holden and Lily too, this was probaby the first time ever that they've parented together with an acceptance that Luke was an adult. And I REALLY liked how in those scenes they seemed not to just be parenting Luke, but they really were parenting Luke and Noah together. It seemed to me like Luke and Noah really shed their "teenager" stigma today. But then again, I guess a green card marriage to "ewwwww a girl" will do that every time.

I had a slightly different take. I thought it seemed like Lily was really scared Luke is going to get hurt in all of this.
She's the one that brought up if Noah thought about his living arrangements. It seemed to me , Lily would have been fine if Noah and ameera left the farm. I think she doesn't want to see her baby hurting. Holden on the other hand was just playing it neutral. Atleast that was my take.

It really was more Holden, but when she and Lily were alone discussing it she had a bit more "they" view of things - but when Noah was there, she didn't.

It's weird because Lily has always said nice things about Noah behind his back but she rarely acknowledges him when she's in his presence. It's like she turns into mamabear or something.

Yeah - you're right, I've noticed that on several occasions but I didn't put them together as a Lily behavior pattern until you just said that now. Geez, Lily, stop shovin' burger sacks at him and tell him you care.

I wonder why this is though. I really think Lily is supportive of Noah/Luke only because of Luke. Like I wouldn't be surprised if the stuff starts taking it's toll on Luke(and we can guarantee it will) that Lily will support Luke leaving him and Holden might not,

That's a possibility, but I wish Lily would give Noah some attention. I got my hopes up because of their first scenes together at WOAK that day, that Lily would bond with him, but if she has they sure haven't shown it on screen much have they?

Nope, they haven't.
As much as a I love Lily, she is a selfish character, So I can understand why she is more focused on Luke. Holden and Luke have a very special kind of relationship so Luke probably talks to holden about Noah all the time. So Holden knows Noah enough to be able to offer him more consideration.

I agree. I honestly believe that if Noah wanted to leave the farm, Lily would be happy with that because she seems terrified that Luke is going to get hurt. She's concerned about Noah, but she's really scared Luke will get hurt because she's right. These boys have NO idea what they are doing and they are in over their heads. Holden and Lily are being supportive, but it's almost like they know it's going to be a trainwreck, but there's nothing they can do but watch it happen. It's really kind of sad because it's going to be so tragic and painful and heartbreaking. They know it, we know it. I think Luke knows it too, but he loves Noah so much that he's willing to endure it. And Noah? Still clueless. Don't hate him though.
