Doing all the heavy lifting.....
Question for Thursday, March 13th:

So what did we think of what Aaron said to Luke about being prepared for his relationship to go bust? Do we think that at one point Luke and Noah will breakup (though I'm sure if they do, they'll get back together).... or will they stay a couple for this entire story arc?

I don't know, Emma's speech kinda counter-acted it, and hers was the last word. I'm sure they could knock a home run with the acting if they did, or maybe they'll have to fake a breakup or something, who knows.

OLTL rocks!
I don't know. I mean, I think they should. But I just have this feeling/fear that much of the "meat" of the story is going to get "gutted" so, it might not happen.

I definitely think Aaron's speech was that "sometimes love isn't enough". That was my take and it was definitely foreshadowing.

Depending if they made changes from today's show, then yeah, they are breaking up.

If there's a break up I'm with Anthony that it will probably be temporary, until a pivotal moment undoes some miscommunication, misunderstanding, or something of that nature...and also if they do a breakup, I hope it's not done half-way, but it's done all out so the guys can have some good material to act instead of watering it down into a b-story, or something. It needs to be handled powerfully and not matter-of-factly, if that makes any sense at all ...

I understand what you're saying. They need to do it and do it right and give it the right amount of time. It has to be strong and powerful and mean something. It can't be handled lightly. And maybe they will do it the right way, especially now that Van is staying. They still have to deal with Martha's exit, but hopefully that won't deter from the story for too long and they can go with it.

I've always had a gut feeling that there would be a breakup somewhere in this storyline. I think Luke will realize that he cannot accept the marriage like he thought he could, and decide to end things with Noah. It would definitely make for some powerful scenes between Van & Jake. My only fear is that a heartbroken and devastated Noah would do something NO ONE wants him to do. And I'm not even going to mention it!!
